Custom china is a great way to bring style and ambiance to the tabletop. Use custom china as a marketing tool for your place of business, creating interest, presenting yourself elegantly to your diners – and setting your establishment apart from the competition.

With the help of our domestic decorating facility, Cardinal offers a widerange of decorating processes which include: lining and banding, brushbanding, decal, direct printing and spray and speckle.

The technical aspects:We can decorate on glaze, in-glaze and under glaze. The on-glaze operation allows for the greatest color selection; options also include precious metals. On-glaze is the most common process, and our libraryof color formulas enables us to offer the quickest development time ofthe three methods.

The in-glaze operation uses the standard color palette and allows for faux embossments or relief to create a more elegant design. This process alsois more durable than the on-glaze process as the ware is fired at a highertemperature.

The under-glaze operation has a narrower color range but offers the highest durability. The entire decoration is completely covered by theglaze. This process is often recommended for operations with high volume daily usage.

CrestingCresting allows you to personalize your china with your operation's logo.All you need to do is supply your Cardinal Sales Representative with camera ready artwork in an Adobe Illustrator, EPS or a Tiff file along with PMS numbers if known.

The ProcessOnce you decide on the basics, (what you want and where) we move toproofing and sampling to ensure the message is heard loud and clear.

• We begin with visualizers, a computer generated printout of what your design will look like.

• Next we produce mock-ups, an actual piece of ware with your design in place.

• The final step after all above is approved is the fired sample where youwill see exactly what the finished product will look like.

• Lastly, we deliver your custom china, which transforms your tableupgrading and differentiating your establishment from the competition.
