I do not need to wear a uniform unless my course states otherwise:• Hairdressing and beauty students will need
to wear a uniform.• Personal Protective Equipment such as steel
toe capped boots and hi-vis jackets are required for our construction courses.
I will still be informed about my progress through parent’s evenings.
I will have a personal tutor and an allocated tutor session each week.
I will be expected to attend college for a minimum of 18 hours per week depending on my chosen course.• However I will still need to complete all work
set outside of my timetabled hours.
I will always need to wear an ID badge.• The college is an open campus so for security
reasons you will need to ensure you always wear visible identi� cation so that our security sta� know you are permitted to be on-site.

I can access the LDC (Learning Development Centre) to borrow resources or use the computers to complete my course work.• Our LDC sta� are available to support you during
opening times.
I am able to participate in extra-curricular activities such as NCS (National Citizenship Service).
I will automatically be a member of the on-site Gym once I have completed a parental consent form.
I am allowed to leave the campus as long as I am back in time for my lessons.• Registers are taken in every lesson so it is
important that you arrive punctually for your lessons.
I can access the Wellbeing Centre where I am able to get support if I am a young carer or want to join a club. • You can access counselling services through the
Wellbeing Centre too.
I will be given a free lunch voucher if I am eligible to receive one.
I am entitled to free education until I am 19.
I can use my mobile phone during break times or between lessons but not in classrooms or workshops.
