C'était un loser, un pauv' gars de pigalle.Un détective minable, qu'on appelle "Le putois".Planqué dans sa bagnole du côté des Halles,Une cigarette au bec, et un vieux café froid.

Son client a les nerf, il a même raqué un max.Pask'il pense que sa femme l'a fait cent fois cocu.La photo de la fille, une adresse sur un fax,Un regard sur l'trottoir, des phares au bout de la rue.

La buée sur les vitres, et l'bruit des essuies-glaceEt cette pluie infernale, qui tombe sur le toitIl attend, il attend, mais là, y'a rien qui se passeIl déja onze heures, et putain, c'qui fait froid

Ah enfin d'la lumière, on dirait qu'ça bouge là haut.Il chope son minolta, met l'doigt sur l'déclencheurUne ombre qui s'avance, en plein dans son viseurMais la lumière s'éteint, tant pis pour la photo.Quel loser ce putois.Quel blaireau.
