Grasp both sides of the top of the zigzag edge. With an upward motion, gently wiggle the paper up, just over the exposed hairline and insert the ZIPA slightly into the hair strands already sectioned up. (shown by the red arrow) This will create a hook connection on. Once the paper is secured, take your finger and press across the zigzag edge. This will lock the ZIPA in place. When the ZIPA is properly locked into place, the hair will pop up slightly at the root area at the top edge of the paper. Fold the paper in half and then process. Use a small brush. Using a pintail Comb, skip the first zigzag notch and slide your comb across the parted hairline, taking a thin layer of hair in sections of weaves and drawing the hair on to the paper. Continue this weaving technique along the zigzag edge of the paper. Every time you place the hair onto the paper, skip a space. This separates the individual weaves or small slices. 5 7 8 6
