They were asked not to burn crop residue and keep their surroundings, village and public places clean and motivate others for this also. 31th October 2016-

i) Awareness programme on Swachhta

Pakhwada was organized at Muktapur ME

School, Muktapur of Kamrup district of

Assam on 31st October’2016. There were

103 participants including dignitaries, school

students and teachers.

ii) Method demonstration on use of bioinput

i.e. Vermicompost/biofertilizers was

conducted at school premise followed by

organizing an art competition among

students. The programme was concluded by

prize distribution ceremony followed by

cleaning the school premises as a part of the

Swatchata programme.

6. Swacchata Abhiyan Rally, village sanitation and Kisan

sangosthi at village Lohkari by KVK Jabalpur and ICAR-

ATARI, Jabalpur on 24.10.2016. Programme was chaired by

Shri Anoop Singh Marawi, former State Minister, GoMP and

co-Chaired by Shri Uttam Singh, Gram Sarpanch Lohakari.

Rally: The programme began with a rally of school children,

teachers, villagers, local leaders and scientists in the village

raising slogans of swachhata.

Interactive session: After the rally, there was an interactive

session on importance of swachhta in the presence of 300

participants. Use of pseudomonas for compositing and

vermicompost production was discussed in detail.

Swachhta by action: After the interactive session all the

participants, performed activities to clean the roads in the

village, educating villagers to keep their village clean.

7. Under Swachh Bharat Pakhwada programme on 24/10/2016
