Belmont Town Board

Belmont, Nevada

I am here to discuss closing Oliver Street. I have already had Jim Shaner survey the part of OliverStreet that goes through the property belonging to the Cox Family Trust. This street has not been inexistence for fifty or sixty years to my knowledge and has not been maintained by Nye County.

When I talked with Keith Boni he suggested we petition or do what is necessary to close the Streetand have it removed from future maps of Belmont.

I also contacted John Terras and he was going to discuss this matter with his brother, Terry Terras. I

I have not heard back from them.

I have not contacted Jan Berard or the new owners of the Bar property (Di

Dick’s Saloon).

As Oliver Street only exists on maps and is not used by anyone as a through street to access theirproperty, I am hoping with the support of these property owners and the Belmont Town Board we canget this street closed. Anything the Belmont Town Board can do to help us with the closure of the streeton our property or the entire street will be greatly appreciated.
