The graphics in my documentary were very minimalistic, containing white basic font for the title of the documentary and the font that appeared in the banner for the introductory of the interviewees. The intro to the documentary itself was of a spider on the subjects face, this itself gave connotations of fear itself making it as real as ever.

Archive footage was variant. Sometimes we would use straight from the source clips off of secondary source sites (like youtube and google) other times we would film archive footage with a video camera. The archives fit perfectly to the corresponding voiceover interview aswell. We also used an archive material in the background of one of the interviews due to the specific thing the interviewee was talking about was about a television show (Doctor Who).

Sound in the interview was varied. We used a voice over for one which corresponded with the generic use and convention of the standard English voice over for the documentary. We also used our own recorded music of a music box. The reason why we used this as it gave off an eery sound in connotation to fear.

The camera work (especially on the interviews ) held very basic conventions. For starters, most of the interviews were zoomed in as a medium close up (like most conventional interviews in documentaries.

Like most documentary's this itself held most basic edits like simple cuts from one transition to the next. The introduction itself only had one edited touch which was a dissolve at the end.

The mise en scene for the interviews were mainly held in front of blue screens to show a picture based on the topic of the interview. (I.E doll interview with various dolls in the background.) Some interviews were held in locations like the psychologists office and the spiders interviews which were held outdoor to link in a connotation that insects (especially spiders) reside from here. The interviewees all looked towards the interviewer in all of the interviews and were positioned from the side of the camera, which again is a conventional use in interviews. The questions aske to the interviewers also were cut out.
