The Samiti considered the proposals of the following Colleges/Institutes for finalization of fee structure for the students who joined the course started during Acaderrric Year 2013-14. After deliberations, The Samiti decides to approve the final fee structure of the following Colleges/Institutes for the students who joined the course started during Academic Year 2013-14, subject to final approval/affiliation/permissions from respective Authorities. Figures are arrived at after considering the calculations drawn in the worksheet - calculation sheets of the respective colleges/institutes prepared by a Chartered Accountant. The students admitted in Academic Year 2013-14 and there after continuing their studies will pay an enhanced fee of 5% each successive year as per the norms for 2013-14 till completion of the course. For example if the fee approved is Rs. 1,00,000/-

1 Samiti finalised the fee structure for the 2012-13 is Rs. 60000/- but institute has collected excess fees from the Stduents for the student who joined the course for AY 2012-13 is Rs. 80000/-

The fees were not approved by Shikshan Shulka Sarniti. 3. The Institute has thus mislead and submitted the incorrect information to the Samiti. An explation is required as to why as per resolution of the Samiti, fees arrived at after calculation should not be reduced by 50°/o, and why Samiti should not consider taking appropriate action and used it's discretion to take up the case for filling criminal prosecution against the Institute for submission of false affidavit.

The fee of the above Colleges/ Institutes are to be approved after the deficiencies are cleared. Office to communicate the deficiencies which are to be cleared within a period of 15 days of receipt of the letter.

Item No. 4: To consider the letter received from ACPM Medical collese, Dhule recluestins to consider the interim fees for 2012-13 as final fees for PG courses. [Ref. Aqenda Item No. 4 (c) in the meetins dated 8/07/2013).

Considered the letter dated 6/8/2013 and 18/6/2013 of the College. It is clear that the college has collected as fee of Rs. 4,72,500/- from the students who joined the course during 2012-13. The college to explain on what basis this fee was collected from the students. Infact no proposal was sent by the college. It is not possible to allow Rs. 4,96,120/- as fee which, is adhoc for 2012-13. The college sent the proposal for the first time for the courses started during for 2013-14 and the fee is already declared Rs. 4,72,500/-. Further steps to be taken after receiving explanation from the college about the collection of fee from the students who joined in 2012-13. The explanation to be given within 4 period of 2 week. Item No. 5: To consider and decide on the letter dated 23/07/2013 received from Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Nursinq Institute for reconsideration of ~ r o ~ o s a l in view of its inabilitv to bifurcate the exDenses.

To be taken in the next meeting.

Item No. 6:. To consider and decide the letter dated 15/07/2013 received from Saraswati- Dhanwantari Dental Colleqe & Hospital Post Graduate & Research Institute for finalisation of fees in respect of MDS courses (courses started in 2013-14) for the academic vear 2013-14.

Considered the letter dated 15/7/2013 of the Institute. It is clear from the said letter that though permission was granted last year, the students were not admitted. The students are admitted for the first time for the Post Graduate courses during 2013-14. Therefore the Institute has to charge adhoc fee of Rs. 1,85,220/- declared for the said course during 2013-14. They have to submit full detailed proposal as per our norms next year and the fee can be finalized for 2013-14 and 2014-15. Office to communicate.


Item No. 7: Anv other matter with the ~ermission of the Chair.

The time to file the proposal is extended by 1 month i.e. upto 30/09/2013, subject to payment of Rs. 30,000/- per proposal /per course as late fee. It is made clear that this extension is the last extension.

The next meeting of the Shikshan Shulka Samiti (Medical Education) would be held on Tuesday the 17'~ September 2013 at 1i :QB a.m. in the Meeting Hall, Office of the Sarniti at 305, Government Polytechnic Building, 49, Kherwadi, Ali Yawar 3ung Marg, Bandra (E), Murnbai 400 05%.
