Overview

• In this guide, you will learn how to navigate both the physician and member-walkthrough user interfaces.

• The physician user interface is divided into three main sections: Caregroup, HealthReader, and Find Patient

• If you are a physician that is part of an Enterprise Group, you will also see an Enterprise section.

• The member-walkthrough user interface is divided into

Enterprise Group

To begin, we will take a look at the Enterprise Group section of the user interface.

For physicians who are part of an Enterprise Group, the Enterprise tab will appear on the overhead menu

From Enterprise, you will be able to view Limited Access and Full Access members of your Enterprise, as well as the overall performance of your Enterprise in “Performance”

To view full access members who have already had their results consultations, click “Full Access Member”

To view a member of your enterprise group, click “View”

HealthReader

In the next section of the interactive training guide, you will learn how to navigate and use Genophen’s HealthReader application.

The Drug Database provides information regarding a large variety of various medications and their uses

This is the Find Patient page. If your Caregroup becomes large enough, this may be a faster way to find one of your Caregroup members.

To return to the home page, click “Genophen” in the top left-hand corner

To find a Caregroup member, simply enter in their first name, last name, and select their date of birth

Account Settings

In the next section of the interactive training guide, you will learn how to make changes to your personal information, notification settings, password, pin number, and security questions.

Now you’ve reentered the home page!

If you would like to make any changes to your account settings, click on your name in the top right-hand corner

Next, click “My Account”

To protect your account security and privacy, you will be prompted to enter your password in a popup window

You have now reached the My Account section, where you can make changes to your Personal Contact or Work Information, or alter your settings

Next, click “Work Information”

From Personal Contact, you can make changes to your first name, last name, preferred language, primary phone number, or email address.

You can also add a photo by pressing “Choose File”

To make changes to any additionally preferences, click “Settings”

From Work Information, you can view and/or make changes to your practice name, NPI, work address, city, country, state, zip code, and office phone number

To confirm these changes, click “Save”

At the top of the Settings page, you will be able to make changes to authentication preferences, email notifications, as well as changes to your password

To confirm these changes, click “Save”

At the bottom of the page, you can scroll down to make changes to your Security Questions.

Member-Walkthrough User Interface

In the next section of this tutorial, you will be shown how to walk your members through their profile during their “Results Consultation” with you.

From Enterprise, you will be able to view Limited Access and Full Access members of your Enterprise, as well as the overall performance of your Enterprise in “Performance”

To begin your results consultation, click “View” to see the health profile and assessments of your member.

This is the Lifestyle section of your member’s health profile.

All of this information will have been filled in by your member prior to the results consultation. Feel free to take a look through the sections they have filled out on the left-hand menu.

You will need to fill out some of the user’s medical information, which can be found by clicking “Medical” in the overhead menu.

The user should have filled out his biometrics, but you may need to include his/her blood pressure.

Feel free to take a look at any medications or procedures listed by the patient.

You can upload any lab work by clicking on “Lab Work”

This is the Lab Work section! Here you will be able to fill out important health information about the patient, by clicking the edit icons on the right.

This health information can also be stored in the Genophen account by clicking “Health Records”

Here you will be able to upload and store any lab reports, medical reports, doctor reports, etc. by clicking “Upload” above.

Now that you’ve uploaded all of the necessary information, click “Assessments” on the over-head menu to begin walking your patient through their results consultation.

Welcome to the Assessments section. Here is where you will begin your patients results consultation.

When you first begin the results consultation, click “Do the Math” for Genophen to reanalyze the member’s health analysis with any newly added health information.

After you have done that, take a look at any diseases with a risk level of “High” or “Very High” You should walk your members through any of these diseases and educate them on their options to reduce their risk.

To walk a member through a disease, click on the disease name at the left of the window.

This is the Risk Overview of the health profile.

Below you will find the members current multiplier for his risk of acquiring a disease.

As you can see, his Justin’s risk of high blood pressure is currently 5.61x what would be normal for someone of his gender and ethnicity, with an average genetic risk.

Lifetime risk represents the member’s current risk of acquiring the disease in relation to what risk is common.

Achievable risk represents the member’s achievable risk of acquiring the disease, if he made all of the necessary changes to his/her lifestyle.

You can view which factors can help the member in reaching their achievable risk by clicking “Modifiable Factors”

Here, you will find a list of lifestyle factors that can increase risk for having high blood pressure.

As we can see, Justin Cooper’s BMI and Obstructive Sleep Apnea increase his risk for high blood pressure.

Be sure to teach your members how to take actions to reduce these risk factors.

To look at risk factors that the member can not change or control, click “Non-Modifiable Factors”

Here you will see a list of Non-Modifiable Risk Factors for high blood pressure.

As you can see, factors such as family history, genetics, and past smoking behavior plays a role in assessing the risk for the member that cannot be changed or altered.

You can show the member how age plays a role in assessing their risk level by clicking “Risk by Age”

Because Justin Cooper was not a past smoker, and does not have a family history of hypertension, these factors do not increase his risk.

Here you will find a graph of how age affects the members risk of hypertension.

The dark blue line represents Justin’s risk if he continued his current lifestyle. The light blue line below represents his risk if he made the necessary changes to his lifestyle.

For a more detailed look on how genetics increases or decreases risk, click “DNA Data”

Here you will find the list of DNA variants that are identified with hypertension.

Red lines represent variants that increase risk. Green lines represent variants that decrease risk. Blue lines represent variants that were not used in the risk calculation.

If the patient included any Family History of hypertension, you can view it by clicking “Family History”

At the bottom of the page, you will find this information panel on the specific variants. You can learn more about any of these variants by clicking “Explore More”

Because Justin Cooper did not report any family history of hypertension, there is no information to report.

To take a look at how the individual lifestyle changes affect risk levels, click “What If”

Here you can take a look at how changes to modifiable risk factors could affect lifetime risk.

By dragging the slider for weight down, the lifetime risk for hypertension will decrease closer to achievable risk.

If the patient would like to learn more information about a disease, click the “About” tab.

This is the About tab. Members will be able to learn more about a disease from this tab.

From here, you will be able to show them the disease definition, causes, risk factors, symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention methods.

To take a look at any of the data used in interpreting the members risk, feel free to click “Citation” on the overhead menu.

To look at how genetics plays a role in the member’s response to certain drugs, click “Drug Response”

To learn more about a specific drug response, click the name of the drug on the left.

This is the Drug Response section of the Assessments. Here you will find information on the member’s genetic influence on their drug response.

At the bottom of the page, you will find variants used for the response calculation. You can learn more about these variants by clicking Explore More.

To view how genetics affects the member’s food responses, click “Food Response” in the overhead menu.

Now that you have shown your member his/her high risks, its time to help him/her construct an action plan. To do this, click “Actions”

This is the front page of the Actions section. Here you will be able to view the member’s health risks, ordered from high risk to low risk.

Here you will be able to click on any of the risk factors to learn more about the diseases they can increase risk for.

To help your member construct an action plan, click “Select Actions”

From here, you will be able to help your member select action items to add to their action plan. Simply click on one of the food categories to begin adding an item to their personalized diet.

After clicking on “Grains and Bread” a popup menu will appear, which will help you narrow down in choosing the category of grain and bread to add to their personalized diet.

To add an item to the action plan, simply check the box to the left, and then click “Add to Plan”

To save an action plan, click “Save Action Plan”

From here, you will be able to save the actions made in your action plan.

Simply fill out a plan name, a start date, and click “Save Action Plan”

This is the Nutrition Guide. Here you will find personalized recommended food items for your patient to eat.

You can browse various food categories by clicking “Browse Food Categories”

After clicking on any of these conditions, a page of information will appear.

At this point, you and your member will have completed their results consultation.

Be sure to grant your patient full access at the end of their results consultation by clicking “Grant Full Access” at the center of the overhead menu.
