• Requires multi-tasking – by moderator and participants• Attend to simultaneous text chat, audio,
video, presentations• Requires careful ‘chunking’ of information
and activities - prolonged audio reduces concentration
• Low bandwidth/ link affects reception e.g. audio gaps, speeded up audio, audio- video out of sync
• Needs activity design to engage participants with regular interaction, polling, questions, responses

Find and bring back the URL of a favourite website or blog site that provides useful information on some aspect of elearning/ education technology [10 minutes].
Instructions: 1. No need to exit Elluminate. To step away from the room click
on the door icon.2. Search /find your chosen URL3. Return to the room – click on the door icon to announce your
return4. Type the URL into the text box and Send it to This Room5. During the web tour that follows you may feedback reasons
for your choice either in text or by voice.
