1. Farm pond on private land :- Water conservation has been given due priority within Rampur block
as a number of villages face the problem of water scarcity with the objective to uplift the under privileged
people by making them self employed . In a bid to achieve this , a number of schemes of farm pond on
private land have been taken up in the current year 2013 under MGNREGA. A 81000 litres capacity farm
pond had been constructed on the land of Kamlesh ram village Kukudha . In this case ,the earth work for
construction of the Farm pond was undertaken using unskilled manual work amounting Rs 99700. The
pond plays an important role in storing the excess supply of water during the rainy season and provide the
beneficiary a handsome income up to 40 to 50 thousand Rs. Per annum by fisheries.

3 Construction of pcc roads and drainage in Mahadalit tolas:- Conectivity and sanitation in
Mahadalit tolas got top priority in MGNREGA Bihar. In village
Sabar and Lewabandh, PCC road had been constructed in Mahadalit tolas in current finanacial year 2013-
14 .The sanctioned amount were 4,65,362 Rs and 2,34,500 Rs respectively. This was a right approach to
brought development work at tail end .

In village Chanaki, a pacca road, 2000ft in length had been constructed .The sanctioned amount for the
project was Rs 826000 . This project is very successful in the sense, it connects the village Chanaki to
Village Baheri by which the inhabitants of the village easily approach to village Sabar and Belaon in the
rainy season and via village Ahiraon to Belaon which was previously not possible.
