Southwest Catholic Health Network (SCHN) is a not-for-profit venture sponsored by Catholic Healthcare

West - Arizona (CHW-Arizona) and Carondelet Health Care Corporation of Arizona (Carondelet) to.

--Promote and facilitate quality health care services, within the limits of availableresources and guided by fiscal responsibility, to the people of the Southwest withspecific concern for the poor and the disadvantaged

--Enhance the ability of the sponsors to fulfill their mission and to respond tocommunity needs

Through its contracts with Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS), and the Arizona

Department of Economic Security, SCHN arranges identified health care services for over 250,000

needy residents of Arizona via subcontracts with various health care providers, including CHW-Arlzona

and Carondelet

Healthcare Group of Arizona (HCGA) is a component of the Arizona Health Care Cost ContainmentSystem (AHCCCS) AHCCCS is the state of Arizona ' s prepaid Medicaid program . HCGA is the nameof a prepaid coverage product aimed at small businesses with 40 or fewer employees which do notcurrently offer medical insurance to their employees . The provision authorizing the state to providecoverage for the working uninsured population is found in the the legislation which created AHCCCS
