Next WEQ EC meeting April 28, 2015 in Carmel, INExpect significant conversation regarding the
revised standards for redirects on a firm basis, both from unconditional parent reservations and conditional parent reservations. The proposed recommendation contains a requirement for each provider to post in their business practices how they “handle” redirects from conditional parents.

Workshop on Available Transfer Capability Standards for Wholesale Electric Transmission Services (reference AD15-5-000)
FERC staff will convene a workshop to discuss actions the Commission could take to ensure that transmission providers continue to calculate and post available transfer capability (ATC) in a manner that ensures nondiscriminatory access to wholesale electric transmission services.
Panel of various industry folk – from the west Excel, Puget Sound, and consultant for Powerex. Issues – detailed requirements versus flexibility, coordination between providers, and transparency to customers and regulatory beings.
