Present Continuous for the future
Use: Definite future arrangements that
usually refer to the near future. (We talk about people! The other people already know about it! Everything is already arranged!)
Example: I cannot come to school yesterday, I am going to the dentist. We are going out with John tonight.

Use: We talk about timetables and
programmes. (We don‘t talk about people!)
Example: The bus to Prague leaves Liberec in 20 minutes. The concerts starts at 8 o‘clock this evening.
