Printing Image for Pull Up Banner
1) Customer to set up job based on the following specification:
Printable area: 830mm x 2000mm
Make sure the first 20mm of the printable area does not have any
important text or image as this area will be covered.
Allow 250mm to be hidden inside the roller of the display stand which is
not visible

2) From any appropriate application, eg. PDF or Photo software, select File => PRINT
3) Select Canon IPF8000s under Name, and select PROPERTIES

4) Select PAGE SETUP, then go to PAGE SIZE and select OW BANNER
5) Under LAYOUT tab, select PAGE LAYOUT and select FREE LAYOUT

6) Select OK when the message below show up

8) Select OK again to print

9) ImagePROGRAF FREE LAYOUT screen will appear.
10) Select FILE => DETAILED SETTINGS.
Under MAIN tab, select Glossy Photo Paper for media type and POSTER
(PHOTOS) or POSTER (TEXT) for print target.

11) Select PREFERENCE
12) Select mm for units.

13) Select PAGE SETUP tab, and select ISO A0/A1 Roll(841.0mm) for ROLL PAPER
WIDTH and NO for AUTOMATIC CUTTING
14) Select OBJECT SETTINGS tab, and select NONE for OBJECT FRAME STYLE

15) You are now ready to move the image into position and modify the size by dragging
the image at the corner.
Drag the image in order to line up the width at 830mm wide (see arrow)
16) Make sure there is no text or important graphics passing the 2000mm mark. Anything
passed the 2000mm mark will be hidden inside the roller of the display stand

17) Click print icon, and select OK
18) After the image is printed, click ONLINE to go OFFLINE, and then hold down the
DOWN ARROW BUTTON to manually feed the media out (approximately
200mm).
19) Perform FORCE CUTTING. Choose MENU => PAPER CUTTING => YES

Applying Image to Pull Up Banner
1) Pull both end cap off the top bar
2) Pull top bar apart to give a gap

3) Slide the top of the print into the gap of the top bar. Making sure the smooth surface is
facing up
4) Lock the top bar by pushing the bar down

5) Put both end cap back into the top bar
6) Place the bottom part of the banner stand at the bottom of the print as below and peel
off the backing from one side of the tape.

7) Stick the printed image on to the tape
8) Peel the rest of the backing of the tape and place the remaining printed image onto the
tape

9) Pull the pin from the right hand side of the banner stand, making sure that you place
ONE hand on the image.
10) Let go of the image slowly, making sure that the image retract into the banner stand
straight, and preventing the edge of the image getting damaged.
11) Place one end of the rod into the hole on the banner

12) Grab the hook on the top bar and pull it up
13) Place the hook into the top end of the rod
14) Swing the legs of the banner stand out

Packing the Banner stand 1) Swings the legs of the banner stand back
2) Unhook the top bar with the rod. IF you cannot reach the top bar, pull the banner
down in an angle.

15) One hand hold the rod, the other hand drop the image into the banner stand slowly
16) Pull the rod out of the hole on the banner stand
17) Pack all the accessories into its original black bag
Note: Always make sure you put the banner stand together before packing them up for the
clients.
