To be the Leader by innovating
Thanks to a good knowledge of the needs of the glass industry,
Our aim is to set a new standard by bringing the latest technological innovations
to improve both efficiency and reliability of container inspection systems in the cold end.

Selectivity Feedback to process
And Telemaintenance
5
InnovationsNecessity to design machines introducing technical innovations adapted to the quality requirements of the glass makers:
• Communicating inspection machines allowing remote adjustment and telemaintenance,
• Selectivity of defects at a high speed,
• Automatic and easy job change for a better repeatability

Innovations
Remote maintenance allows :
• remote software updating of inspection machines,
• technical assistance.
Remote adjustment : complete adjustment of the machine by remote technical
centre.
Image processing : more efficient in order to improve the selectivity.
Identification of defects according to shape criteria (density, size, main
direction). It is possible to differenciate a mould seam and a defect for example.
7
Innovations
Remote maintenance and assistance :
• User friendly thanks to the use of Windows NT4 and XP technologies,
• remote diagnosis and support,
• Software updating,
• Adjustment assistance.

innovations
Quick job change :
1. Using 12 cameras in order to :• Obtain high resolution 100% coverage• Avoid optical adjustments : the fields are fixed and the optical
adjustment is done only once (during the installation of the machine)
• Avoid mechanical adjustment,• Obtain an high resolution analyse even on large containers,• Optimise the observation angle for the neck analyse thanks to an
additional camera• Obtain repetitivety of adjustments• Availability of 4 direct central cameras for a better inspection,• Mix STRESS and TRADITIONAL inspection.
9
Innovations
Quick job change :
2. Development of a new generation of light sources :
• Characteristics (photometric, geometric) completely driven by computer,
• Universal (same source for the dark glass and the white glass),
• Adapted to any shape.

The image processing
1. Reduction of F.R.R. (False Reject Rate).
Example for body inspection : discrimination between mould seam and vertical tears.

Rejected bottle with a vertical tear

seam and tears by measurement of
the main direction and the

Illustration of 12 cameras concept : 6 angles of direction, each angle having a low camera and a high camera. The optical adjustments are done only once (during the installation of the machine).

Base and Finish inspection
Finish inspection :
• New patented light source,
• Universal high resolution cameras.
Base inspection :
• Computer driven light source (photometry and geometry),
• Precise detection even at high speed.
Stress Inspection
• Detection of faults with tension in the glass containers base.

EVOLUTION 5
Remote maintenance
• remote technical assistance,
• Repeatability of adjustment,
• Quick job change.
• Experts assistance during job change
Easy installation
•No by pass required,
•Installed over the cullet conveyors
•Centred on conveyor
