Nintendo Land is a theme park with 12attractions featuring Nintendo's greatest gameworlds! At this park, you can visit as your Mii™character and play a variety of attractions withup to five players, taking on the role of classicNintendo characters.

This software can be used with any of thefollowing controllers once they have been pairedwith the console.

◆ Only one Wii U GamePad controller can be used.

◆ When using a Wii Remote or Wii Remote Pluscontroller, you must set up the sensor bar. Fordetails, see the Wii U Operations Manual.

Pairing Controllers

From the HOMEMenu, select Controller Settingsto display the screenshown to the right.Select Pair, and then follow the on-screeninstructions to pair any controllers.

To play with Mii characters in NintendoLand, you must have them designatedas a Favorite in Mii Maker™. Note that ifyou remove Favorite status from a Mii ordelete a Mii with Nintendo Land savedata in Mii Maker, the save data for thatMii can be transferred to another Miidesignated as a Favorite. Swordsmen can point the Wii RemotePlus at the TV and press to resetsword position. When you reset swordposition, your Mii will re-center itssword.

This shows the number of arrows you have left toshoot. Point the GamePad down flat to refill them. Youcan hold a maximum of 10 arrows.

You receive Rupees for every enemy you defeat. Thenumber of Rupees you collect is a good indicator ofhow much you're contributing to the group.

The animal team loses one heart every time they getcaught by the gatekeepers.

This is a contest between two gatekeepers andone or more animals. The player with theGamePad controls the two gatekeepers at thesame time, and each player with a Wii Remotecontrols one animal.

For the animal team to win, they must collect aset number of candies. However, the guards winif they can catch an animal three times. Themore candies an animal is carrying, the slower itmoves, and the easier it is for the gatekeepers tocatch it.

Slide the GamePad stylus on the touch screen todraw a route for the Yoshi™ Cart. You have toguide him to every piece of fruit on the way tothe goal. The TV screen will show you wherefruit is located, along with any obstacles, butyou can't see any of this on the GamePadscreen. The Yoshi Cart uses up fuel as it moves.If the cart runs out of fuel or hits a hazard, youlose a life. If you lose all your lives, it's gameover.

Taking a Tour

You can play in this mode if you have aWii U GamePad and at least one Wii Remote orWii Remote Plus. Two to five players compete invarious attractions to see who can get thehighest score.

Players who are not participating in around can vote for who they think will win.If that person wins, the player who votedfor them will also get points.

If you don't see any Metroid Blast cardsappearing in the Attraction Tour, it may bedue to one of the following reasons:

・ A paired Wii Remote does not have anattached Wii MotionPlus™ accessory.

・ A Mii that hasn't played Metroid Blast isbeing used.
