1. Introduction scene: The Droid

1.1

Introduction quotes by Arthur C. Clarke, andanother person. Universe in the background. "Oneday maybe we will encounter life from otherplanets. Only then we will understand ourselvescompletely, and our place in this universe."

1.2 OVER THE SHOULDER:

We see a droid from an astronauts perspective. Itsnot functional, looks like its run out of gas. We heara person saying on the speaker: "Yes, I've found oneof them. It seems to have been circling around thegrassy area on this planet, and run out of gas here.He's bein going for quite a few miles."

1.3 MEDIUM:

She's on knees, over the droid. We see thebackground. There's a rocky atmosphere, strangerocks. Some sharp mountains in the background.We also see binary suns. "Seems to have just runout of juice. There's no scratches on it."

1.4 CLOSE UP:

Close up on her, talking into the walkie talke/arm."No, I haven't seen the other one yet. Hansel andGrete they're named, yeah. I know. Not my idea ofcalling them that. I have no idea where the otherone is at all. I'll look out for it."

Back POV on robot. "This one has some kind ofblue thing on its head. The other one is red? Whichone is this? Hansel ...or Grete?"

Her srm comes up into view. It observing technicaland clima-stuff. Some recognizable, some not. "Hm.The climate is getting moistier here around thegrassy fields, as we are reaching the more grassyfields now..."

"There is surpisingly a lot of oxygene here. In fact, Iwonder if.." She removes mask. Breathes in.

"... I can actually breathe here." Breathes in. "Theair feels even fresher here than on earth. I seem tobe able to breathe just fine here."

She continues to tell about the surrounds now, andthere's a field of vegetation in front of her. She seesa swamp and huge grassy area.. and some plantsnearby. The person in the other ends seems to loseher. "Hello? Hello?" It evolves into static noise.Talks to base. Loses base. Reports she is going overto recording.

1.10 WIDE:

Loses base. Reports she is going over to recording."I just lost contact with the shuttle. I'm swapping tomy recorder now. I'm going to check out the plants."

She sees the crossings of biomes. She starts movingtowards the other biome.

2. Scene 2: The mentality plant

2.1 CLOSE UP:

She sees a plant. From an over shoulder look of theplants. We see a picture of a strange plant. It looks abit like a sackpipe. It has a belly and some kind ofhorn shaped flower. It glows a bit.

2.2 EXTREME CLOSE UP:

We see the plant from her perspective. "The grassare filled sporadically with these strange plants allover the place."

2.3

She reports. She's right in front of them now. "Thesebellies that are connected are very strange. I wonderwhat happens if I touch them."

2.4

She gently put the foot on the belly of the plant.Giving it a slight squeeze.

The plants reacts. It opens up its flower....

and... some purple-ish gasspores shoots up at thewoman!

The woman holds her breath as it shoots in her face,but a small portion of it she breathes in. So the stuffin the gas slightly has an effect on her.

Stuff pulsates a bit, and some colors change up to abit more purple-ish.

The plant starts to dance slightly. She sees somekind of hallucination, although she understands itthe drugs in the plant that makes her do it. It stopsrelatively fast.

"Wow. This plant seems to have some kind ofdefense mechanism, its shooting out gas and ismaking me see things. Its trippy. There must besome kind of weird substances here. Must be somestuff, like psilocybin or something similar inside thegas. Interesting." She stops a second.

"But.. if the plants evolved around here need adefense mechanism to survive here.... then adefense mechanism from what really?" "Could therebe something living, or used to live here, aroundhere that the robots or satelites hasn't picked up?"She looks at the swamps.. Its quite dark because ofthe trees. Its foggy. The robots could easily havemissed anything in there.

3. Scene 3: The Swamp

3.1

Cut to: She goes in. There's strange trees that couldbe worth check out further, but its not on thewomans mind right now. The fog seems to comefrom some kind of craters, and there wet pitsaround, making it feel quite like a swamp fromearth. Hun går inn, total.

3.2

We see a close up of her trying to get through thefog and the branches. Suddenly she hears somesplashing sound. What could it be?

3.3

There's a very small lake in front of her. She canmake out some of it, but its too foggy to seeanything clearly. Suddenly she sees something redcoming up from the water and disappearing behindinto the fog, up against some rocks.

3.4 CLOSE UP:

We see her reaction in close up. She takes up herrecorder, whispers. "There's something here. I justsaw something crawl up from the waters.. Lookedred.. couldn't make it out."

3.5

"This is it then.." She holds her breath. She puts upa flashlight. Moves slowly forward. Suspense is inthe air.

3.6

We see a closeup of her feet as she moves ahead.

3.7 POV:

She reaches a stone wall. Its very dark around here,still foggy, but the fog seems to be clearer her. Sheslowly uses her light to look around for somethingaround the rocky wall... The light ends up on somehuge eyes.

3.8

The flashlight brightens up a creature. Its the size ofa mediumsized dog, and it stands there in front ofthe woman. Just staring.

3.9

We see a picture of them both. The distancebetween them isn't very far. They're both quiteparalyzed. Its safe to say the creature hasn't reallyseen anyone like woman either, so their experienceis kind of mutual.

3.10

The creature doesn't seem threathening, orthreatened. Just catious and curious. Its makingsome weird grunting noises. They're both verystatic. Not making a move.

3.11

Suddenly! The creature flees inside a cave right bybehind it quite fast. A cave the woman didn't noticebefore now. It must be his home. The light followsinto his cave, it moves upward.

3.12

She takes a step back, and the flashlight follows upthe hill. We see her shocked reaction.

3.13

We see a TILT upwards... and the creature is notalone living in here. Not at all. There's a whole hillhere with creatures living like that together. Thelight seem to stir up a reaction among them.

3.14

We see a total of her in front of the mountain. Wehear their reaction. They seem scared. It sounds likehenfarm. (Climatical music.)

4. Scene 4: Finding an abondoned city

4.1

She moves out of the swamp. She must have comeout of it in one piece. She is back at the huge grassyarea with the plants.

4.2

She starts recording what she has seen. With afeeling of disbelief. Its something she can't fullycomprehend. She speculates on how they live. "Thisis incredible though. I really still can't believe this.This changes so much. So much. I think I'm headingback to the base for the night and get a camera andsome other equipment, and try to document morematerial of these creatures.

4.3

We see the mountains and the sun setting behindher. "The sun is setting.. wait.. hmm. What is that?"As she looks at the suns, she notices there issomething quite strange at the end of themountainchain. Like there is something connectingbetween the montaintops.

She takes up some binoculars.

4.5

We see through the binoculars. There indeed issomething strange about a couple of the mountainsahead.

4.6

She takes down the binoculars. Looks bemused."There is something strange about the mountains inthe distance which I didn't notice before now.There's something there... connecting between acouple of them. Its probably just something that hasgrown between there, but I can't figure it out fromhere. I think I will go check it out before headingback. Although its quite a hike."

4.7

We see the distant view. Its a long way.. and itsgetting dark.

4.8

We see her going through the grass. Admiring thestrange lights in the skies. Still shaky after herfindings in the swamps. Its quite a beautiful eveningon another planet. The world will know its notalone.

4.9

She sees two big rocks at the side while walking by."The rocks around here look awkward. There's twoalone all the way out here. I wonder what madethem look this way. I'll check them out later"

4.10

We hear her voice. "Wait... This is not mountains."The closer she gets to the mountains though, theless sense does the thing between the mountainsseem.

4.11

What is between the mountains is not a growth, itsnot rocks or anything made by nature itself. It lookslike an handmade iron port with patterns that naturecould not have made itself. The port look rusty andmossy.

And its not just a port either. She gets a glancebehind the couple of mountains of the port.. Its

some sort of sign before entering what seems likea... whole city!

Zoom slowly out. A city built into the sharp strangemountains. Or the buildings are made as mountainsto blend into the environment, its hard to tell.

Her in front of the city.

5. Scene 5: Entering the city

5.1

She walks between the buildings. Looking around.We see her from a high perspective.

5.2

The buildings are covered in moss and vines. Shereports she kind of understand the whole city wasn'tdiscovered by the pictures of the satelites, because itlooks like mountains as its covered in moss andvines. This city has been decaying for quite sometime.

5.3

We have a couple of pictures of her looking aroundtown. There's some plants like she saw earlierspread around in here too.

5.4

She finds a huge statue of a strange snake-creaturethat bites its own tail. She reports it. Can it be somekind of religious artifact from the people that livedhere earlier? There's a few of them around town,placed in what could be a pattern.

5.5

There roads is like circles that leads to inner circlesof roads to more and more center. Center to the city.She follows the roads that leads to the center of thecity. It looks kind of like an outer cinema.

She finds the center of the city, there's a hall with aroof. It looks kind of like some kind of outercinema.

Inside there is a huge black monolith thing thatlooks like a screen.

She studies it. Somehow she triggers it.

Some cords shoots out, and triggers into her head.

She resists, but the cords shuts her senses off into ahypnotic state, and into seeing a movie.

Face. Fades into documentary.

6. Scene 6: Inside an alien documentary

6.1

Stargatish gooey sequence. A voice appears.

There's a little light moving while she talks.

There's a black blurry circle around the movie. Wesee the people in the city. How they used to live. Nomoss, no vines. Clean functional active city.

6.4

We see a snake. Its seems to be made ofDNA-spirals. It lies choking on a white background.

The snake bites itself. It becomes a circle, it eatsitself. It resembles the snake we saw statues ofearlier.

There's a transition to the snake in the city. There's acrowd in front of it. Looking at it.

We see people fading away around the statue.

More and more.

7. Scene 7: The physical manifestions of the shock

The cords are pulling out.

7.2

She backs up away from the monolith.

7.3

She accidentaly steps on the plant. Pretty This isn'tgoing to be pretty.

The plants shoots out a gas of spores.

7.5

The gas surrounds her.

7.6

We see the buildings start to pulsate. Anothercolorscheme, perhaps red, dominates the picture.

The plants start to dance.

We see her reaction. Eyes. "Oh no. I've stepped onthe plants."

The monolith changes shapes, and looks like itssinking into the ground. One of the first creaturesfrom the swamp appears from nowhere... staring ather.

She holds for her head slightly. "What is going on."

7.11

Deeper in the city, she sees someone that seems towalk away from her. It looks like one of theintelligent creatures that used to live here.

She holds out her arm... "Wait...!"

She runs after it.

We see her through the snake-statue-hoop. We seethe small creature jumping curiously after her.

We see the eye of the snake moving, moving as shewalks by her. Quite like a creepy painting.Uncertain if its part of her hallicunation.

7.16

She has come to a split of streets, not sure where hewent. She looks around.

7.17

She suddenly sees the creature inside on the streets,with his back towards her. Completely still.

7.18

We see her face. She partly thinks its part of herhallicunation.

We see her going slowly towards the creature.

7.20

Suddenly the creature starts to grow.

Grows very large, over the building nearby. Itreaches for the building as it grows.

It turns around, leans over the building and looksdown at her.

At the same time, one of the smaller creatures alsogrows and climbs up the building nearby.

Panning: She looks from one of the creatures to theother one.

7.25 WIDE:

We see a WIDE picture of her in front of both thecreatures in front of the buildings. In the back thecity doesn't seem to continue. We can see a tarishocean in the background, and a lot of reeds/sugarcanes.

We see the face of the woman. She's not sure how toreact.

7.27

We see the face of the intelligent creature. It says"Hello Sarah. Liked the movie? How are you?"

She answers.

The dialogue scene goes back and forth.

Gradually, in the background. see some shiningeyes coming on in the background. More and moreof them. They blink sometimes.

The woman notices them. "Whats the eyes.. that aregoing on around us."

"The eyes of.... babies. Unborn babies, that don'twant to be born. Babies you might be able to have.That will lead suffering painful lives."

8. Scene 8: The avenging babies

We see the babies come out of the darkness... Fromsome kind of bushes.

They're about 7 babies. They're bigger than usualbabies. About the size of grown ups.

Close up of their faces. We hear their heavybreathing.

8.4

We see the woman, she asks why they're here?What do they want?

Picture of the biosophical creature. "They wantrevenge. They want to get back in you."

"In me?"

Picture of the babies again. "Yes, into you. Backfrom the way they came into existance. From wherethey came from."

"You better run. Sarah. Run."

8.9 WIDE:

We see a total of her seeing them coming up,running. She also starts to run quitw shortly.

Close up at her feet running.

Close up at the babies feet.

We see the babies run, frontal view. They seem tocome closer, reaching in on her..

She suddenly stumbles.

We see her flying through the air in slowmotion....

... and landing, with a dramatical dunk in the grass.

Paralysed she holds for her head, expecting to thebabies to throw themselves over her at any moment.Closing her eyes.

Nothing happens. She opens one of her eyes.

8.18 WIDE:

We see a total picture. The babies are not there anylonger.

8.19

She gets up.

8.20

She looks up for a second.

8.21

Then puts up her recorder. "I have no idea whathappened. I must have experienced some kind oftrip because of the plants."

She sees one of the plants dancing. "Its still goingon I think."

9. Scene 9: Back to start/Ending

9.1

After a while she tries to find her way home. Stillbeing affected by the stuff to a degree. Plants giveslights and dances around her. Its beautiful butpsychedelic.

9.2

She sees the two rocks again.

9.3

They seem to be moving now. Like living creaturescrawling around in circles almost. She's not sure ifits real or not. Were they animals all along? Or isshe still hallicunating? At this point she doesn'tknow. She continues to walk.

9.4

She ends up seeing the robot. She has come back tothe exact place she started the story.

9.5

And, the other robot is now beside the other one.How did it get here. Did it come here and drain outwhile she was gone?

She looks down at them.

Picture of them again. We hear the radio go on.

She finally gets contact with base around the placeshe started. They are happy to hear from her, as theywere worried something had happened to her asthey lost contact. They ask her what she has seen.She says she's not sure. She asks the person how shegot here, because she don't remember.

The person at the other end says he doesn't knowhow she got there either. The woman doesn't knowwhat to say. She looks up.
