ABOUT JAMIESON RANCH VINEYARDJamieson Ranch Vineyards is the southernmost winery in the Napa
Valley. The property’s rolling hillsides and vineyards were formerly
Part of General Mariano Vallejo’s Rancho Suscol in the mid-1800’s.
Today, the ranching tradition continues with cattle grazing the
Hillsides, an apiary, from which we source our estate honey, and our
own miniature horses roaming the property.

ABOUT REATAThe name Reata comes from the Spanish word for “lariat.” Hand
braided and buried in earth to cure, each rope – like our wine – is
individual to its maker, and to the land it was born out of.
CHARDONNAY CARNEROS
TASTING
Brilliant straw yellow in hue, the nose is marked by ripe peach, mango,
golden apple, lime, honeysuckle and bay leaf. Gorgeous entry unfolds
into flavors of stone fruits and plush tropical fruits. The mouthfeel is
smooth, the acidity mature and a touch of sweet oak contributes to
its depth and complexity.
ESTATE CHEF’S PAIRING
This Carneros Chardonnay impresses with its great balance and
complexity. It has a nice butterscotch component without the all-
too-common flabbiness, making food pairing easy. Tuna tartare,
clam chowder and steamed Sea Bass are all excellent complements
for this Chardonnay.

PINOT NOIR
TASTING
This wine is notable for a deep ruby color and subtle range of dark
cherry, raspberry, blueberry, anise and toffee aromatics, kissed by a
hint of vanilla. An intense entry is followed by ripe, dense berry flavors
while mature, fine tannins add silky texture and depth. Toasty oak
perfectly integrates into a lengthy finish.
ESTATE CHEF’S PAIRING
This Pinot lends itself to several seafood preparations due to its soft
tannins and excellent acidity. Salmon is a classic Pinot Noir pairing,
though other good combinations are wild mushroom risotto, ragù,
almost any light meat fowl smoked or dark meat fowl roasted with
winter root vegetables.
