Research report

• 1st years research in a paper format!

• Look at papers and follow the writing style

• Abstract (250 words), Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, References, Figures with Legends

• Use Endnote for references and use a numbered style. Hand your library in!

• Not to exceed 4000 words (Std paper length)

Research report• Encourage to format in a published paper style

rather than just standard pages

• 10 point Arial font

• 2 columns

• Design figures to fit either 1 or 2 columns

• Check figure once shrunk to fit for readable font size and figure impact.

• Don’t forget the figure legend!
