RESEARCH PRESENTATION

Research subject: New TELE2 users (in the past used to use services of other operator (-s)).

Research methodology: A survey of TELE2 clients using CATI (Computer Assisted Telephone Interview) method. Respondents for the survey were chosen using simple random sampling design, from the list of clients provided by the Client. Interview was taken from the person who is responsible for Tele2 account, dealing with Tele2, telecommunications. The statistical error of the survey results with 95 per cent accuracy does not exceed 4.0 per cent.

Sample size: 603 TELE2 clients.

Quality control: The inspection covers the principles of selection of respondents and the compliance to the questionnaire requirements.

Date of survey: The survey fieldwork was carried out on 26 April - 9 May, 2011.

Explanations: A red circle or arrow near the answer means that the measured result is statistically significantly higher than the others, a blue circle or arrow – is lower. Dashed circles or arrows mean that there is a rather sharp tendency but no statistical significance yet.

STATISTICAL ERROR

Estimating the results, allowance must be made for statistic error. This error occurs, because the respondents are selected instead of performing a continuous survey. The error is calculated mathematically. The following table presents errors for different number of respondents and breakdown of answers.

Supposing, 600 respondents answered the question of what operator they preferred: and that 25 per cent said they would become a user of operator X. This means that we can be sure with 95 per cent accuracy that the actual value is within the range of 25 3.5 per cent.
