This will help us set up a meeting for you with one of our ministers to learn how God is at work in your life and home. Then you will be invited to attend one of our 4th Sunday Discovery Gatherings (4:00 PM) sponsored by our ACTS Team. This gathering will help you learn more about the Sugar Creek family, and finally you will be presented to the church for affirmation and celebration!

Welcome to the Church at Sugar Creek. Today we conclude a sermon series associated with our relationship to the third person of the Trinity. We know that God is transcendent. But He is also imminently connected to His own through His Spirit! Today we will look at a familiar conversation between Jesus and one of the influential religious leaders of that day. There we will learn something about the “Power of the Spirit!”

Please notice the opportunity you have to volunteer to help with the October 31st Fall Festival. Also make plans now to be present for the Global Missions Weekend and Celebration Service on November 19th. The details of that event are being worked out, but we will hear what will likely be the final report from our 20/20 Vision Team! Finally, be praying for God’s will to be accomplished in our 2017 deacon election coming up November 12. Today we worship, I am glad you are here!

Operation Christmas Child is so much more than delighting a child in need with a simple gift. In the hands of local churches, every gift-filled shoebox is a powerful tool for evangelism and discipleship- transforming the lives of children and their families around the world through the Good News of Jesus Christ! After receiving shoebox gifts, boys and girls are invited to enroll in The Greatest Journey, our 12-lesson discipleship program where children learn what it means to faithfully follow Christ and share their faith with others.
