Edinburgh is one of the most haunted cities in Britain, possibly the world. This is hardly surprising as much of the city’s Old Town is built on top of a whole network of streets and dwellings that were filled in when the plague hit Edinburgh in the 1600’s. Four hundred years on you can visit these hidden labyrinths and decide for yourself if there really is such a thing as paranormal activity.
03Ghosts and Ghouls
Princes Street Gardens used to be a body of water known as the ‘Nor Loch’. It
was the location of witch trials, with over 300 women being
thrown in under suspicion of practicing the craft.
