The initial treatment plan was:

▪ to place a 3 mm implant in the #7 position

▪ to place a 4 mm implant in the #11 position

▪ with a mesial cantilever in the #10 position.

However a cantilever would not fit on a 3 mm implant.

Therefore 2 different size guide sleeves were used for

the final treatment plan.
