Here are 10

camping tips for you.

1 Research whereyou are going

Read up on

Know about your campsiteas much as you can.

locations, facilities,weather,

booking conditions.

2Try out your

equipment beforeyou leave home

Practice. And practice some more.

3 Do not rely on a campfire

When you are new, they take time and sometimes, practice to get working. Havea back up cooking method!

4 Avoid buying cheap gearinstead of quality

Try to buy quality gear, with goodafter sales service and guarantees.

Buy good gear.Only cry once.

Don't buy up "big" too early in yourcamping days..... in case you don't need it or don't go

camping again!

6 Don't shiver in yourtent.

Not having the right bedding will give you a sleepless night. Get the rightbedding for the right weather. P.S. Avoid air mattresses.

7 Arrive at your campsitebefore dark

Avoid looking for a campsite in the dark, as well as having to set up in the dark..

It can lead to unhappy campers!

Don't underestimate how importantgood lighting (bring plenty).

Put food and rubbish securely away.

Or, wildlife visit, and make a BIG mess.
