I mean, who wouldn’t like to have a sort of personal online shopper to help them with that!?

Enter the Gift Guide. With this holiday campaign, you help your audience find the best gift for their loved ones. This interactive

format features products from your company (or that of a partner) as gift ideas based on things like taste and price range. Note that this idea works best when linked to your online store, if you have one. Otherwise, you can also use it to help visitors in

your store find their way to the perfect gift!

Personality Tests with Branching are easy to set up. You only have to enter your questions and answers, and describe all the possible profiles.

Remember: you need to associate personalities to their answers. Based on the participant’s answers, Qualifio will automatically calculate the dominant

2. The Christmas jumpers photo contestA photo contest can really be done at any time of the year, but Christmas is the perfect opportunity for an entertaining contest! For instance, you could ask your audience to share their worst/funniest Christmas sweater picture and integrate a voting module in the campaign.

Select the Photo Contest format and start with an Upload campaign. You can accept a wide variety of images sizes and kinds of files (gif, jpg, png, rar…) directly uploaded from the participants’ devices. You can also build the gallery that will display the pictures and enable sharing. Then, if you want to allow your audience to vote for their favourite image(s), you can connect your Upload campaign to any Vote campaign that you set up. Navigate to the Votes step of the latter, then select the Upload campaign you’d like to connect.

3. Countdown to ChristmasAn Advent Calendar campaign may seem cliched, but who doesn’t like to feel like a child and get a surprise each morning while counting down the days leading up to Christmas? Plus, this format lends itself very well to time-limited offers. Another reason to use this classic Christmas concept is that it will keep people coming back each day for more interaction with your brand, opening a new door. And if you’re worried about finding 24 different ideas, shortening the campaign to 5 or 10 days can still be quite effective.

We particularly love the mini-site publication channel. Minisites are a great way to highlight a specific campaign

4. The “Spot the difference” gameWant to give your audience an opportunity to play? Try this delightfully interactive game! Put their powers of observation to the test as they compare two nearly identical pictures and try to spot the difference.

Go for a Quiz campaign. Then, follow this tutorial. Everything you need is there.

To make it more challenging, choose the Chrono Quiz type of campaign. Then, enable the Facebook sharing option and use the {chrono} dynamic variable in the description. With this setup, participants will try to break the record and/or beat their friends’ scores by finding the difference faster!

food and wine pairing in your audience, this game will be the time for them to prove it. Let

them try and match the right food with the right wine. We guarantee it will be addictive!

6. The Christmas surveySurveys can give you highly valuable insights into what your customers or audiences are thinking. Take the holidays as an opportunity to survey your target on how they are going to celebrate (or how they celebrated) Christmas.

Alternatively, you could create a survey about their expectations and collect info on preferences that way. For example, if you work in retail, you could ask questions relative to your winter sale.

Keep it relevant by choosing a Survey with branching. Add your questions, apply branching options, customise the design, preview and publish your survey, that’s it. Simple as pie. You can even keep a live track of your participants thanks to our Statistics module!

“If Santa’s bag of toys contains an alarm clock, a pair of socks, a camera, a laptop, tickets to a concert and a bike,

how much does it weigh?” That’s a good one, right? And a wonderful way to entertain kids! (Although, adults will

certainly appreciate it too.)

Add a new Quiz campaign to your account. Go to the Questions step, select the

appropriate question type (memo field or numeric field) and type in your question.

Below, click on “Hint” then “Image” and add a picture of your basket of goodies —or

allegedly, that of Santa ;) and you’re done!

8. The blind testYes, Christmas is the season of countless iconic films that end up making our eyes bleed — but why not take this as an opportunity to stand out? With our blind test about Christmas movies or songs, the idea is about generating virality and having fun. Participants simply listen to movie quotes or soundtracks and have to match those to the right movies.

This one is a simple Quiz, although with a twist: you have to upload an audio hint below each multiple choice question. Don’t forget to indicate which is the correct answer! This will allow the score of each participant to be calculated.

Add a time limit per question. With Qualifio, you can display either a progress bar or the number of seconds as a gamification element.

9. The quiz of the yearWhich James Bond actor died in 2017?

What city was the Australian Open held in this year? Create a multiple choice quiz to

test your audience’s knowledge of what happened throughout the year 2017.

Your questions can even be about pictures or videos!

We would choose the Sudden Death quiz for this one. This format works exactly like a

classic quiz, except there’s no room for error. Participants are taken out as from the first

wrong answer. (Which makes it more difficult, so don’t play too many tricks in your questions!)

Incentivize participants to share your quiz on Facebook by giving them a bonus if they do, such

as extra points or a second chance. Don’t forget to couple it with a participation limitation, so that

a chance to play again really means something!

10. The New Year’s resolution helperEach January, people resolve to better themselves in some way: drink less, help others, get fit, quit smoking… But what about those who don’t know what their good resolution should be? Give them an opportunity to find out through a fun quiz of your making!

A Personality Test, but better! First things first, create a Personality Test, then click on “One Page with images”. Once you’ve given a name to your campaign, navigate to the “Questions” step and create a new questionnaire. Enter your first question, then upload an image for each possible answer. Don’t forget to formulate the resulting personalities!

To help promote your campaign, use our “Send to a friend” email feature and encourage people to share their New Year’s resolution with their friends (it will hold them accountable!)
