ItineraryItinerary Day 1 – Depart from YOUR GATEWAY to Yangon. Enjoy the in flight service on board of a jumbo jet.
Day 2 – Arr. Yangon (-) This evening, arrive in Yangon. Meet your local guide and transfer to your hotel.
Day 3 – Yangon (B,L) Start the morning with a tour of the beautiful Kandawgyi Lake to view the uniquely decorated
"hamsa-bird-shaped" floating barge. Then, proceed to Chaukhtatgyi Pagoda to view its magnificent reclining
Buddha. Continue explore the colonial charm along the port area and bustling markets of downtown. . We com-
plete the day with visit to Shwedagon Pagoda, a gleaming bell dome structure that dominates the city's skyline.
Day 4 – Yangon to Bagan (B,L) Visit Nyaung U Market, the largest market in the Bagan region, to get a glimpse
into the local life. Continue to Myauk Gunitemple, an archaeological zone to view many stunning Bagan temples.
Explore the magnificent gold gilded Shwezigon Stupa purported to contain a holy tooth relic of the Buddha. End
the day at the majestic Ananda Temple with its four standing Buddha images that seems to gaze at the viewer with
fixed serenity wherever the viewer stands.
Day 5 – Bagan (B,L) Optional balloon ride before visit Bupaya, one of the oldest pagoda and the Royal Palace site.
Learn how Bagan’s famous lacquer ware crafts are produced in Myinkaba Village. A special visit to Monastic
School, where provides education for over 500 students, who cannot afford for school, from nearby villages. Meet
the local students, teach them English and experience the local student life. In the evening, we transfer to the
Ayeyarwaddy River for a Private sunset cruise along with views of the temple silhouettes and bustling shore.
Day 6 – Bagan to Mandalay (B,L) Tour of Myanmar’s former royal capital begins with the Zaycho Market and the
highly revered Mahamuni Pagoda, housing the most significant Buddha images covered in several tons of gold
leaf. Then, continue to visit the oldest craftsmanship of gold leaf hammering craft shop. After lunch we will visit the
Shwenandaw Monastery, known for its exquisite wood carvings. Then venture to Kuthodaw Pagoda, famous for its
729 stone slabs containing the entire Buddhist scriptures.
Day 7 – Mandalay (B,L) Excursion to Amarapura, a former capital of Myanmar; visit Mahagandayon Monastery
where more than a thousand monks live and study. Time permitting you will have the opportunity to observe the
monks having their last meal of the day in total silence. There, we visit a cottage industry workshop to learn how
Myanmar longyis and traditional fabrics are woven. Continuing to the U-Bein Bridge, a simple yet remarkable teak
structure that spans over Taungtaman Lake. Take a short and pleasant ride upriver to Mingun, would have been
the largest pagoda site. The unfinished site is till very impressive. Nearby we can visit the Mingun Bell, the larg-
est hanging bell in the world. Enjoy taking the local ox-art transfer back to the jetty. Return to Mandalay.
Day 8 – Mandalay to Yangon (B,L,D) Today we fly back to Yangon where you will have a chance to do last minut
shopping at the famous Scott (Bogyoke) Market, where hundreds of gemstone, handicrafts, art, clothes and food
stores are tucked in a maze of color. Or relax with the tradiitonal high tea at a historical hotel before saying
goodbye to this beauitful country. Enjoy a farewell dinner before heading to airport for flight home.
Day 9 Today fly from Yangon back to home.
