The Bahamas…

The Bahamas are the birthplace of the Gulf Stream,

home to an amazing abundance and variety of marine

life visible through crystal clear waters; a dream come

true for divers, game fishermen and snorkelers.

Thousands of miles of shoreline boast a number of the

world’s most beautiful and pristine beaches with

national parks and tropical gardens to be found inland,

allowing visitors glimpses of rare and endangered plants

and animals.

Although each island has its own unique personality, the

people of the Bahamas are delightfully consistent in their

warmth and charm. And it’s not all just wildlife and

water; the Bahamas have a fascinating history and

interesting folklore. Arawak Indians, pirates, explorers

and freedom fighters form the unique culture of these

islands.

Whether you prefer snoozing in the sun, testing your

muscles with water sports, swimming with dolphins or

wetting your whistle at one of the colourful and quaint

bars you come across, one thing is sure – the Bahamas

won’t disappoint.

In fact, the Bahamas may be the best kept secret in

charter.
