Monday
Warm up-20 jumping jacks
Stretch-Dynamic stretching (i.e. a-walks, quad pulls, hamstring pulls, toe touches)
Strength Exercises: 1-minute pushup test. How many pushups can you do in a 1 minute? 1-minute sit-up
test. How many sit-ups can you do in a minute? 1-minute air squat test. How many air squats can you
do in a minute? Write down in your journal.
When exercises are completed walk around your workout area for 5 minutes to cool down.
Tuesday
Warm up-20 jumping jacks
Stretch-Dynamic stretching (i.e. a-walks, quad pulls, hamstring pulls, toe touches)
Cardiovascular Exercises- High knees for 2 minutes, rest for 1 min., Run in place for 2 minute, rest 1
min., 100 jumping jacks , rest 1 min., 2 feet jumps (back and forth) 30 seconds, 2 feet jumps (side to side)
30 seconds, 2 feet alternate jumps 1 minute, rest 2 min., and finally 2:00-minute wall sit.
When exercises are completed walk around your workout area for 5 minutes to cool down.
Wednesday
Warm up-20 jumping jacks
Flexibility- A walks for 1-minute, Quad pulls for 1 minute each leg, hamstring pulls 1 minute for each
leg, toe touches for 1-minute, high knees for 30 seconds, butt kicks for 30 seconds.
Do 3 sets of this exercise.
Remember to do these exercises slowly. It helps remove the soreness from the body.
When exercises are completed walk around your workout area for 5 minutes to cool down.
Thursday
Free Play- Walk for 20 minutes, play hide and seek with your family, play 20 minutes of any sport, 120
jumping jacks, get off the couch and play for 20 minutes.
Write a paragraph on what you liked about the class and what would you change about the class?
Make sure that you are keeping a journal on what you are doing during the week. The journal is what I
am going to grade.

Go to remote fitness, then to mobility session #4. It is about a 20-minute workout.
When exercises are completed walk around your workout area for 5 minutes to cool down.
Wednesday
Warm up-100 jumping jacks
Stretch-Dynamic stretching (i.e. a-walks, quad pulls, hamstring pulls, toe touches)
Login to your PLT4M Account.
Go to the Remote fitness, then to the fitness challenge, and do Max Elbow Plank Challenge
When exercises are completed walk around your workout area for 5 minutes to cool down.
Thursday
Watch “Injury Prevention” podcast in the Assignment Tab. Answer the following question:
1. In your own words, what is the best way to stay healthy and prevent injury?
Make sure that you are keeping a journal on what you are doing during the week. The journal is what I
am going to grade. Also, you need to be logging your exercises on to PLT4M. If you cannot log
exercises on PLT4M, take a picture and send it to my email or text me.

I will have assigned a combination of video lectures, articles, exercises and
quizzes/tests to complete for math credit for the week. I post each next week’s
assignments Sunday evening of that week. Week of May 11-14 assignments will
be posted on Kahn Academy site Sunday May 10 at 8 pm. Please pay attention to
the assignment due dates. I must turn in the names of students completing
assignments each week. I will still give credit if you completed the work but it will
not be reflected on the weekly report until the following week or weeks.

Thank you for a truly memorable year at Jal High School. I have enjoyed teaching
the math classes and being a small part of your life. You all have been a very big
