I like this shot because of the simplistic setting, it makes the characters stand out so it makes the audience aware of their importance. The characters are very natural and look genuinely happy which is something we want to show in our music video.

I really liked the way the light comes through the tunnel and the silhouettes of the figures on the bike. We plan on shooting in London so we may be able to get a tunnel shot but it will be more of a busy, upbeat feeling with lots of people and maybe some street art.

I particularly like the framing of this shot, my eyes were first drawn to the two people sat on the playhouse but then I looked to the left to see the block of flats which tells me more about the location. I think it’s an interesting concept to have more than one element in the frame to keep the shots interesting.

I like the way the girl is in the background of this shot. I think the shot would appear very lonely if it was just the boy smoking on his own, but to see the girl smiling in the back makes it feel less intimidating. I also think their red jackets are a visual signifier for love which are seen throughout the video but don’t come across that obviously.

This was the only shot of the ones I analysed that didn’t include the people, which I definitely something that we want in out piece. Not all our shots will have our characters in, so I found this interesting in terms of framing as only a small amount of the building is shown as the camera follows the bird. I like the simplicity of it, I think it looks effective.

I thought this shot was interesting because of the different angle used, the focus is on her and she looks calm, natural and peaceful. I want the shots of our characters to be as natural as possible in our music video much like the characters in this video.

I liked how this shot was very close up as it was a contrast to the others shots in the video. I think this kind of thing will be nice to emulate in our own video, having close up shots of hands or other body parts to make sure we have a variety of interesting shots.

The rule of thirds used in this shot draws your eye to the character and is interesting to look at. I like that the character is so far away, it would be nice to have some shots in our production of the character far away in a crowd of people on a busy London street.

Like in the 7th image, I like how there is a close up of the hands, I think they can show quite a lot of expression and especially for a couple as its often a sign of affection and care for one another.

This is one of my favourite shots, the light background makes the figures stand out and I like how you can see both of them and their emotions clearly, I think this kind of shot shows the audience a lot about their relationship and I think it will be very effective in our music video.
