The object of Rotary is to encourage and
foster the ideal of service as a basis of
worthy enterprise and, in particular to
encourage and foster:
FIRST:
The development to acquaintance as an
opportunity for service;
SECOND:
High ethical standards in business and
professions; the recognition of the
worthiness of all useful occupations; and
the dignifying of each Rotarian’s
occupation as an opportunity to serve
society;
THIRD:
The application of the ideal of service in
each Rotarian’s personal, business and
community life;
FOURTH:
The advancement of international
understanding, goodwill, and peace
through a world fellowship of business and
professional persons united in the ideal of
service.
OF THE THINGS WE THINK, SAY OR DO
1st Is it the TRUTH?
2nd Is it FAIR to all concerned?
3rd Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER
FRIENDSHIPS?
4th Will it be BENEFICIAL to all
concerned?
As a Rotarian engaged in a
business of profession, I am
expected to:
1. Consider my vocation to be
another opportunity of service;
2. Be faithful to the letter and to
the spirit of the ethical codes
of my vocation, to the laws of
my country, and to the moral
standards of community.
3. Do all in my power to dignity
my vocation and to promote
the highest ethical standards
in my chosen vocation;
4. Be fair to my employer,
employees, associates,
competitors, customers, the
public and all those with whom
I have a business or
professional relationship;
5. Recognize the honor and
respect due to all occupations
which are useful to the society;
6. Offer my vocational talents to
provide opportunities for the
relief of the special needs of
others, and to improve the
quality of life in my community;
7. Adhere to honesty in
advertising and in all
representations to the public
concerning my business or
profession;
8. Neither seek from nor grant to
a fellow Rotarian a privilege or
advantage not normally
accorded to others in a
business or professional
relationship.

Invocation
Almighty Father, God of wisdom and creator of all that
is beautiful, we thank You for the exciting and wonderful
presence of these lovely ladies in our midst. In your
wisdom, You taught us never to miss the opportunity of
seeing and appreciating anything that is beautiful. You give
us the nice feeling of joy and happiness when we smell a
lovely flower, when we view the beautiful sunset, and when
we come face to face with the fairest among the ladies.
Beauty is Your handwriting here on earth. It is an extra cup
of blessing in Your treasury of gifts. Loving Father, bestow
upon us the inspiration to do something beautiful for the
poor, the needy, and the unlovely. Grant unto all of us the
beauty that is a joy forever. Amen.

ROTARY MONTHLY THEME
Rotary Information…
Impact starts with our members — people like you who see a world
where people unite and take action to create lasting change — across
the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
At club meetings in communities across the globe, our people of action come
together to strengthen their connections to friends and neighbors and their
commitment to improving lives.
Who can join?
We’re looking for people who want to give back to their communities.
Rotary clubs also welcome Rotaractors, Rotary Peace Fellows, and other members
of the family of Rotary who qualify for membership.
How can I become a member?
Clubs accept new members by invitation. To help us find the right club for you, we’ll
ask you a few questions about yourself and your interests. Then we’ll share your
answers with Rotary leaders in your community who will match you with a club.
What are the benefits?
Becoming a Rotary member connects you with a diverse group of professionals who
share your drive to give back. Through regular meetings and events, you’ll:
* Discuss your community’s needs and develop creative ways to meet them
* Connect with other leaders who are changing the world
* Expand your leadership and professional skills
* Catch up with good friends and meet new ones
Other benefits of membership include:
* Rotary Global Rewards, our member benefits program, which offers discounts on
products and services. It’s Rotary’s way of helping our members spend less so they
can do more.
* The Rotary International Convention is our biggest event of the year. Rotary
members from more than 130 countries meet at the convention each year to
celebrate our successes and make plans for the future.
* Rotary Fellowships give members the chance to join a group of people who share
similar interests, hobbies, or vocations. Some groups use their fellowship to make a
positive difference.
* Rotarian Action Groups unite Rotary members, family members, program
participants and alumni who share their expertise in particular fields by collaborating
with clubs and districts on projects.
What’s expected of me?
As a club member, you will be asked to:
* Pay club dues
* Attend meetings and events
* Use your professional skills and talents to make a difference

Good day fellow Rotarians!
Congratulations to our club for the recent bloodletting
activity in partnership with the Stella Maris Academy
PTA last September 8, 2019. It was such a successful
event, which was supported by different organizations
and individuals. Thank you to our champion couples,
PP Arthur and Spouse Kathy and Dir. Michael and
Spouse Merelyne, VP Annie Faye, Rtn. Ester, and to all
the clubs namely: RC Davao, RC Davao 2000, RC
North, RC Central, RC Downtown and RC Matina for
their all out efforts and support for the said activity. The
number of bags collected during the bloodletting totaled
to 155 bags. This will truly help a lot of people in need.
Reminding everyone this Saturday, 7am will be the
mangrove planting activity and coastal clean up hosted
by RC Davao 2000 and will be held at the Aboitiz
Cleanergy Park, Punta Dumalag. Please support this
activity by attending.
And our district bowling tournament is fast approaching.
We are planning to do bowling practices to hone our
skills and emerge champions again in the Presidents
Cup. We will announce the upcoming practices so you
can free your schedule and be present, and fellowship
will done after the practices.
