WHAT MAKES IT UNIQUE:
Golden Youth is a project that delivers “music you can dream to”. This isn’t your typical country writer’s round (though there ain’tnothin’ wrong with that) – it’s a celestial indie pop explosion from Stephanie Lauren, the lady behind Golden Youth and Lightning100’s Artist of the Week. You’ll be getting your groove on and starting your weekend with some positive vibes. And did wemention PIZZA? Because it is happening at a pizza factory. Getcha some.
GOOD FOR:
Spending some quality time with someone who you usually have lulls in conversation with. You’ll be able to chat, but the musicwill fill the dead space so you don’t end up asking the same “how was your day” question three times in a row.
MAKE A NIGHT OF IT:
If you want to keep things chill but festive, pop across the street to Tavern for a nightcap (we really dig the red sangria). If youwant to TURN UP a little bit more, check out Blue Bar for some dancing with the Midtown party crowd (though if you’re draggedalong and you’re not into it, there are tables in the back and TVs usually showing something delightfully weird like Cirque DuSoleil).

Ahh, The Art Crawl…how we love thee. Free wine (and sometimes cheese), amazing visual art by the best artists from all overthe world (with an emphasis on our awesome city), and picturesque strolls through galleries in a historic Arcade. This downtowntradition happens every first Saturday. You’ll see paintings, sculptures, and even some live theatre (expect at least one roomwith people dressed as nymphs or something). Such a delight!
