THE SHOREMAX STAKE ADVANTAGEManufactured from high-impact, UV-stabilized ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic, the stakes can provide nearly indestructible, long-lasting, secure anchoring of ShoreMax Transition Mats, VMax® Composite Turf Reinforcement Mats and SediMax™ straw wattles and coir logs in sandy-to-hard, rocky soils.

The flat, round head fits into the recessed openings of the ShoreMax Transition Mat and sets flush with the panel surface. The highly versatile stakes also have a 5/16 in. opening beneath the head to provide a tie-off point for lashing products, such as coir logs, to the ground. Serrations on its leg increase resistance –securing it from pulling out of loose, sandy soils.

SpecificationsMATERIAL AND PERFORMANCEThe UV, plastic stake is made from a high-impact UV-stabilized Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene plastic. The 1 in. (2.54 cm) by 12 in. (30.50 cm) stake shall taper 1 in. (2.54 cm) and have a 1.5 in. (3.81 cm) flat, round head. The stake must exhibit ample rigidity to enable being driven into hard ground, with sufficient flexibility to resist shattering. The stake shall have serrations on the leg to increase resistance to pull-out from loose, sandy soils.
