New Lesson - Exploring Our Faith Sunday School Class

The Exploring Our Faith Sunday School Class begins a new book study today, entitled, “A Dangerous Dozen: Twelve Christians Who Threatened the Status Quo but Taught Us to Live Like Jesus”, by The Rev. Canon C.K. Robertson. The twelve visionary men and women are Paul, Mary Magdalene, Origen, Francis of Assisi, Hilde-gard of Bingen, Thomas Cranmer, Sojourne Truth, Dorothy Day, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, Janani Luwum, Oscar Romero and K.H. Ting.

Annual Meeting of the Congregation March 3rd

The Annual Meeting of the congregation will be on March 3rd, at 10:00 a.m., during the Sunday School hour. In addition to the meet-ing, we will also receive an update about the Forever Fund. We hope to see you all there.

Visitors Welcome to FPC

First Presbyterian Church of Conroe welcomes you. If you are interested in learning more about our church or wish to become active in our ministry teams and activities, please fill out the “Welcome” card located on the inside of the attendance pads and at the Welcome Desk. The completed cards can be placed in the collection plate or given to one of the ushers.

Ash Wednesday Service

On Wednesday, March 6th, we will have our traditional pancake supper at 5:15 p.m., followed by an Ash Wednesday service at 6:00 p.m. On this particular Wednesday, we will not be having our Wednesday Night Live events. We hope you will join us.

Stretching Body and Soul Class

If you would be interested in getting together to enjoy gentle stretching and exercise each Tuesday, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., please join us in the FPC Youth Area. We often extend our fellowship to include lunch at a restaurant afterward. Call Sarah Gutekunst at (936) 203-0579 with questions.

Singing Your Praises!

The FPC Chancel Choir is looking for a few new members. If you've ever thought singing in a choir might be fun, but weren't sure what it takes to be in a choir, here is a simple way to find out. Do you enjoy singing, attend the early service, have a basic understanding of reading music? If so, we would love for you to join us. Our choir practices every Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., in the choir room. We would love for you to join us!
