Established Tim Wright Consulting to pursue aim of establishing a portfolio career providing HR Consulting, pension trustee and interim management services. Assignments include:

The Wine Society – Committee Member and NED. The Society was voted National Wine Merchant of the Year by the Decanter World Wine Awards and Wine Merchant of the Year and Wine Club of the Year at the International Wine Challenge, three of the highest wine trade accolades for UK merchants.

Towry – HR Director for leading organisation providing Financial Planning, Wealth Advice and Investment Management services through a national network of c 200 Wealth advisers.

Big 4 Accountancy firm - provided HR advisory services to assist in the development of their integrated HR product offering.

The Big House Theatre Company – providing business mentoring and planning support. The Big House works with care leavers who are at a high risk of social exclusion, providing a platform for them to participate in the making of theatre and develop social; and employment skills.

Dyslexia Action – completed a training needs analysis and recommended a learning and development framework.

Personal qualities and skills

With over 25 years experience in HR, latterly as Group HR Director of a FTSE100 international business I have built up the skills and experience to be an effective Chair and/or Trustee of an occupational pension scheme including:

Experience of working at Board level through my dealings with the LSEG Chairman and the Chairs of both the Remuneration Committee and the Nominations Committee.

Effective at chairing committees and boards, ensuring that agendas are appropriately constructed, all members contribute and that debate is succinct, thorough and relevant to the agenda.

As Group HR Director, utilised effective and inclusive leadership and interpersonal skills, accomplished at finding consensus and mediating potential disputes towards agreement. These skills were recognised by Group CEO when appointing me as his Chief of Staff.

Substantial experience of instructing, negotiating fees and working with legal, actuarial, investment and other advisors on pensions matters and also on subjects as diverse as property, M&A and HR.

Experienced at corporate governance including pensions and publically quoted companies. Recently worked closely with newly appointed Group Risk Officer to develop enterprise risk management framework.
