I am so very grateful for the support the BCRC has pro-vided during this difficult time. It is an incredible orga-nization that does amazing things for women staring and walking down an unimaginable road. At first I knew nothing and I was so scared and it was all so confusing, you were able to explain things in more simplified terms. Then discussing things in a more detailed way as I moved through the journey. You have an amazing way of dealing with all our "colorful" personalities. You are a calm in our storms, guiding us through.

BCRC’s mission is to empower those affected by breast cancer with personalized support and compas-sion. BCRC’s patient navigation program provides customized support from diagnosis through the continuum of care, including those entering survivor-ship, experiencing a recurrence or progressing to late-stage disease. BCRC patient navigators enable women and their loved ones to become active and knowledgeable participants in their healthcare.

The Breast Cancer Resource Center is an invaluable resource for my patients. They help women with breast cancer navigate every aspect of their diagnosis. Even more, they serve as a beacon of light for many who are just starting their breast cancer journey. While hard to see it when first diagnosed, they prove there is a light at the end of the tunnel. - Julie M. Sprunt, M.D., FACS
