Adventures in Lifelong Learning Tallent Hall, 900 Wood Road, Box 2000, Kenosha, WI 53141-2000 Phone: 262.595.2793 Cider, Wine and History Thursday, October 6th 9:00 am to 4:00 pm Join ALL to visit the Brighton Woods Orchard, Chocolate City Museum and Burlington’s Historical Society’s Log Cabin • Brighton Woods Orchard – A guided tour of the family run orchard, featuring over 200 apple varieties, seeded and seedless grapes along with quince and pears. (These will be available for purchase.) • Appleltreow Winery and Distillery – Enjoy sampling hard ciders and wines in the presence of expert wine makers who will explain the process and describe the apples used to make these spirits. Tasting is $5 extra if you wish to participate. • Lunch at BJ Wentker’s – Please see menu and registration on the back page of this flyer • Chocolate City Museum - Burlington’s Chocolate Experience Museum is a wonder! Play detective in the hands-on Mystery Chocolate exhibit. Exercise your mind with the Morsel and Raisinets guessing games. Marvel at the numerous chocolate sculptures and candy creations. • Burlington Historical Society’s Museum and Log Cabin – Delight in a docent guided tour of the Burlington historical archives and the pioneer log cabin; including the 1840 brick school house.
