Following the popular tales of Little Red Ridinghood; Jack (of Beanstalk fame); Cinderella, Rapunzel and their not-so-princely Princes are interwoven with that of the Baker and his Wife and their quest to reverse a Witch’s spell. However this re-telling goes beyond ‘happily ever after’ as the familiar characters find themselves in unfamiliar circumstances and hopes and dreams are questioned and revisited through a series of comic plots. After the success of the Oscar nominated Disney film adaptation, this new production includes a wonderful musical score featuring Children Will Listen, Giants in the Sky and No One Is Alone. Brought to life by a hugely talented young company drawn from all over Scotland, don’t miss what is a rare opportunity to see this Tony and Olivier award-winning musical on the stage of the UK’s largest theatre.
