Academic Eligibility

• Eligibility is determined each quarter

• Must achieve a minimum of 2.0 for the quarter; no more than one E

• Ineligibility remains in effect until the next quarter report card is distributed

Summer School

• When is summer school necessary? - English, math, prerequisites, total credits • Locations and costs - Limited locations, provide own transportation - Summer school cost is appox. $300 per course

ACCUPLACER

• Students attending MC must qualify to take college level classes

• Accuplacer is placement test

• Offered to DHS seniors in October

• Qualification is based on an SAT score of 550 in Critical Reading, Math, and Writing (total of 1650 out of 2400) or ACT score of 24 (out of 36)
