2004 2014
Letter from The President—12/12/14Employees and Significant Others,
We have accomplished a lot in the past 10 years. Fifty-five percent of small businesses fail before they reach five years. We are the minority. To achieve our success, much has been expected of you, and you have lived up to the test. I applaud you for all your hard work you have given thus far in our journey. Let’s take a moment to reflect on what we have accomplished this past decade: • Opened in February 2004.• Started operating with:• 5 trucks, 20 employees, in 100,000 square feet of space, with less than 2 million dollars in revenue.• Now:• 20 Trucks, over 70 employees, in 700,000 square feet of space, with over 10 million dollars in revenue.• All while losing five of the top 10 accounts to Savannah by 2009 and then losing 40% of business in the
worst recession since the Great Depression.
New Capabilities:• Acquired another warehouse• Opened food grade warehouse• Became Hazmat Certified• C-TPAT Certified• Began FTZ Operations• Began CFS Operations• Bonded Operate Warehouse Facility• Started Trucking Brokerage Operation• Developed Acid Transfer Capability• Implemented Plastic Resin Packaging Operation• Started Fulfillment Operations• Implemented Bar Code Scanning• Implemented GPS Tracking in Trucking Operation• Implemented New WMS I want to thank you for making it happen. This year we made a decision to grow the company, and we wouldn’t have been in that position if it wasn’t for all the hard work you guys give us each day. As we look to the future, now is the time for Premier to take our business to a new level. We will continue to focus on our core values of quality & customer service but with renewed vigor & intensity. Our goal will be for our clients & prospects to immediately recognize that Premier is the best overall value for their money. Let’s keep up the hard work as we roll into our second decade of business!
Thank you for all you do for the Premier Team!
