Un’imbracatura anticaduta è il dispositivo ideale che un lavoratore dovrebbe indossare, in quanto distribuisce la forza dell’impatto generata dall’evento caduta, in modo uniforme sulle cosce e sulla zona del torso del corpo. Il materiale delle imbracature Sir Sokoi è poliestere. Siccome il poliestere ha le minori proprietà di allungamento in confronto ad altri materiali, l’imbracatura non si allunga pericolosamente quando è soggetta ad una caduta. L’operatore quindi, non rischia di scivolare fuori dell’imbracatura.

Prima di indossare un’imbracatura è importante ispezionare l’imbracatura per alcuni aspetti: - Tenere l’imbracatura per l’anello a ‘D’ posteriore e lasciar cadere le cinte verso il basso. L’imbracatura ha colori differenti per le spalle e le cinte coscia, così da poterle ben distinguere.- Controllare che l’imbracatura non abbia alcun taglio, bruciatura o difetti di alcun tipo.- Controllare le cuciture per tutta la loro lunghezza.- Controllare attentamente che non ci sia alcuna evidenza di corrosione sulle parti metalliche.

Le imbracature Sokoi sono provviste di indicatore di caduta Tell-Tale che indica se l’imbracatura ha subito un evento caduta. Tell-Tale è un indicatore posizionato nella parte posteriore della spalla. Lo stesso si stacca dall’imbracatura qualora subisce l’evento caduta.

A fall arrest harness is the ideal device that a worker should wear, as it distributes the impact force generated by the fall, evenly on the thighs and the torso area of the body. Sir Sokoi harnesses are in polyester. Because polyester has lower elongation properties than other materials, the harness does not stretch dangerously when subject to a fall. Therefore, the worker does not risk to slip out of the harness.

Before wearing a harness it is important to inspection the harness to check several points:- Hold the harness by the back D-ring and let the straps fall downward. The harness is colored differently on shoulders and leg loops, so that they can be clearly distinguished.- Verify that the harness does not have any cuts, burns or is damaged in any way.- Check the seams in their entire length.- Check that there be no corrosion in the metallic parts.

Sokoi harnesses are equipped with a Tell-Tale fall indicator that indicates if the harness underwent a fall. Tell-tale is positioned on the back of the shoulder and it detaches itself from the harness in the event of a fall.

ENErGY ABSorBErSThe Energy absorber is made up of 44 mm wide webbing, fully folded and shrink wrapped. In the event of a fall, the webbing inside the packing tears automatically thereby reducing the impact force transmitted to the user to less than 6 kN. Conforms to EN 355. SIR offers a wide range of energy absorbing webbings and lanyards, in varying lengths and with different hooks provided at the ends.
