Shabbath lesson on the seven things Yahuah hates 5/22/14 3:28 PM

Prov. 6:12 ¶ A naughty person, a wicked man, walks with a forward mouth. • 1100. lAo¥ÅyIl;Vb bliya{al, bel-e-yah´-al; from 1097 and 3276; without profit,

o 1097. yIl;Vb bliy, bel-ee´; from 1086; properly, failure, i.e. nothing or destruction; usually (with preposition) without, not yet, because not, as long as, etc.:—corruption, (ignorantly), for lack of, where no...is, so that no, none, not, un(awares), without.

o 1086. hDl;Db balah, baw-law´; a primitive root; to fail; by implication to wear out, decay (causatively, consume, spend):—consume, enjoy long, become (make, wax) old, spend, waste.

• 3276. lAoÎy ya{al, yaw-al´; a primitive root; properly, to ascend; figuratively, to be

valuable (objectively: useful, subjectively: benefited):—x at all, set forward, can do good, (be, have) profit, (able).

• Naughty here means to be corrupted [even ignorantly] by lacking or without knowledge, and wisdom. This person believes he can ascend to the Most High by doing good, thinking he or she is profitable or of value.

• They feel that they should be able to be with the Most High because they are good people. But what they do not realize is they are lacking or without the Law and Commandments, their by without wisdom and understanding.

o Matt. 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Sovereign, Sovereign, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works?

o Matt. 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.

• 205. NwRRDa aven, aw-ven´; from an unused root perhaps meaning properly, to pant

(hence, to exert oneself, usually in vain; to come to naught); strictly nothingness; also trouble. vanity, wickedness; specifically an idol:—affliction, evil, false, idol, iniquity, mischief, mourners(-ing), naught, sorrow, unjust, unrighteous, vain, vanity, wicked(-ness).

o Why is this bad? Because holding things in, you begin to devise thoughts that are either not good, or an assumption at best. Conscious or subconsciously it will work as leaven. What do you do with leaven? So being quite creates the leaven in you, without you even knowing.

• 7451. oAr ra, rah; from 7489; bad or (as noun) evil (natural or moral):—adversity,

o Matt. 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of

the world; and the reapers are the malakiym (messengers/angels).

• Yahuah changes not. So He hates [distances Himself from] those that are lukewarm, up and down.

• Mal. 1:2 I have loved you, says Yahuah. Yet you say, Wherein have you loved us? Was not Esau Ya’aqub’s (Ya’aqab/Jacob) brother? says Yahuah: yet I loved Ya’aqub (Ya’aqab/Jacob),

o Heb. 12:16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of meat sold his birthright.

birthright. There is a different Hebrew word for Hate the way we think of the word.

• Deut. 23:7 You shall not abhor an Edomite; for he is your brother: you shall not abhor an Egyptian; because you was a stranger in his land. [This law has not changed]

Page 6: 1100 lAo¥ÅyIl;Vb bliya{al, bel-e-yah´-al;thepathtoyahuah.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/12...• Esau vs. Ya’aqub (Ya’aqab/Jacob) [Esau will be cut off but a remnant will be

o 1Chr. 5:1 ¶ Now the sons of Reuben the firstborn of Yashra’al (Israel), (for he was the firstborn; but, forasmuch as he defiled his father’s bed, his birthright was given unto the sons of Yahusaph (Yosef/Joseph) the son of Yashra’al (Israel): and the genealogy is not to be reckoned after the birthright.

According to the flesh, they were the firstborn, but Yahuah saw them according to their heart, and according to His promise. He did not see them in the way we think of hate.

• 5315. vRp‰Rn nephesh, neh´-fesh; from 5314; properly, a breathing creature, i.e. animal of (abstractly) vitality; used very widely in a literal, accommodated or figurative sense (bodily or mental):—any, appetite, beast, body, breath, creature, x dead(-ly), desire, x (dis-)contented, x fish, ghost, + greedy, he, heart(-y), (has, x jeopardy of) life (x in jeopardy), lust, man, me, mind, mortally, one, own, person, pleasure, (her-, him-, my-, your-)self, them (your)-selves, + slay, soul, + tablet, they, thing, (x she) will, x would have it.

• Prov. 8:13 The fear of Yahuah is to hate evil: pride, and arrogance [pumped up/swell], and the evil way, and the forward mouth, do I hate.

• Psa. 18:27 For you will save the afflicted people; but will bring down high looks. What is used to prevent us from being arrogant, high and mighty, being proud? all by sight.

• Num. 15:38 Speak unto the children of Yashra’al (Israel), and bid them that they make

them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a ribband of blue:

• Num. 15:39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that you may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of Yahuah, and do them; and that you seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which you use to go a whoring:

• Num. 15:40 That you may remember, and do all my commandments, and be set-apart unto your Alahiym.

• Prov. 4:20 ¶ My son, attend to my words; incline your ear unto my sayings. • Prov. 4:21 Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart.

Page 7: 1100 lAo¥ÅyIl;Vb bliya{al, bel-e-yah´-al;thepathtoyahuah.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/12...• Esau vs. Ya’aqub (Ya’aqab/Jacob) [Esau will be cut off but a remnant will be

• 1John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes,

and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

From the proud look, comes the lying tongue [r®q¡Dv NwâøvVl]. This term means to literally deceive someone. This is different from one who does not know it is wrong. So their lie if you will is not under deception. Shaqar has this dual meaning.

• 8267. r®q‰v sheqer, sheh´-ker; from 8266; an untruth; by implication, a sham (often adverbial):—without a cause, deceit(-ful), false(-hood, -ly), feignedly, liar, + lie, lying, vain (thing), wrongfully.

• There is a cognate word to this word which is Shakar שכר. This means to be drunk. The idea is when you are drunk you are not yourself. There is a false picture of you.

• 3576. bÅz;Dk kazab, kaw-zab´; a primitive root; to lie (i.e. deceive), literally or

figuratively:—fail, (be found a, make a) liar, lie, lying, be in vain. Prov. 6:18 An heart that devises wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief,

• 2790. vArDj charash, khaw-rash´; a primitive root; to scratch, i.e. (by implication) to engrave, plough; hence (from the use of tools) to fabricate (of any material); figuratively, to devise (in a bad sense); hence (from the idea of secrecy) to be silent, to let alone; hence (by implication) to be deaf (as an accompaniment of dumbness):—x altogether, cease, conceal, be deaf, devise, ear, graven, imagine, leave off speaking, hold peace, plow(-er, man), be quiet, rest, practice secretly, keep silence, be silent, speak not a word, be still, hold tongue, worker.

• This is a agricultural term. Literally to plow. What is important to see is the farmer is going out to plow deliberately, not by accident.

• 205. NwRRDa aven, aw-ven´; from an unused root perhaps meaning properly, to pant (hence, to exert oneself, usually in vain; to come to naught); strictly nothingness; also trouble. vanity, wickedness; specifically an idol:—affliction, evil, false, idol, iniquity, mischief, mourners(-ing), naught, sorrow, unjust, unrighteous, vain, vanity, wicked(-ness). Compare 369.

Page 8: 1100 lAo¥ÅyIl;Vb bliya{al, bel-e-yah´-al;thepathtoyahuah.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/12...• Esau vs. Ya’aqub (Ya’aqab/Jacob) [Esau will be cut off but a remnant will be

• They are going through a lot of trouble to devise this wickedness. this wickedness is coming from the heart.

• This is not the normal word for wicked. NwRRDa aoon (aven/awen) o Gen. 35:18 And it came to pass, as her soul was in departing, (for she died)

that she called his name Benoni: but his father called him Benjamin.

o Job 4:8 Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same.

o Psa. 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in your sight: you hate all workers of iniquity.

o From the Hebrew to the Greek this is what Mashaiyach spoke about: § Matt. 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you:

depart from me, you that work iniquity [lawlessness].

• 4284. hDbÎvSjAm machashabah, makh-ash-aw-baw´; or tRb‰vSjAm machashebeth, makh-ash-eh´-beth; from 2803; a contrivance, i.e. (concretely) a texture, machine, or (abstractly) intention, plan (whether bad, a plot; or good, advice):—cunning (work), curious work, device(-sed), imagination, invented, means, purpose, thought.

o 2803. bÅvDj chashab, khaw-shab´; a primitive root; properly, to plait or interpenetrate, i.e. (literally) to weave or (gen.) to fabricate; figuratively, to plot or contrive (usually in a malicious sense); hence (from the mental effort) to think, regard, value, compute:—(make) account (of), conceive, consider, count, cunning (man, work, workman), devise, esteem, find out, forecast, hold, imagine, impute, invent, be like, mean, purpose, reckon(-ing be made), regard, think.

o This is the root word for the modern Hebrew word for computer bÎvSjAm. When you are on the internet what do you see? thousands of pixels that creates an image. Whatever the image is, be it pictures or text it is design to alter your thinking, good or bad. It is designed to impute information into your thinking process. What a computer do is express the thoughts of mankind.

o The main deception is on the computer. This is the main cause for different beliefs today. Different doctrine, etc. Not saying it is 100% bad.

Page 9: 1100 lAo¥ÅyIl;Vb bliya{al, bel-e-yah´-al;thepathtoyahuah.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/12...• Esau vs. Ya’aqub (Ya’aqab/Jacob) [Esau will be cut off but a remnant will be

Most people rely on the computer the internet to solve their scriptural problems. They are replacing the scriptures with the internet.

o 2Cor. 10:5 Casting down imaginations [logismos], and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of Alahiym, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience [hearkening, obeying, submission] of Mashiyach;

• 3053. logismo/ß logismos, log-is-mos´; from 3049; computation, i.e. (figuratively) reasoning (conscience, conceit): — imagination, thought. [From the root lo/goß

logos, log´-os]. Mashiyach is the Word. Meaning the spokes person/being of the Father. Being obedient to Mashiyach is saying do as He did. Was He high minded? Walked around stating I know it all? We must put on the Mashiyach. We must walked even how He walked. How did He walk?

• John 12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

• John 12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

Phil. 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Mashiyach Yahusha: Phil. 2:6 Who, being in the form of Alahiym, thought it not robbery to be equal [similar/like] with Alahiym: Phil. 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: Phil. 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the stake. Phil. 2:9 Wherefore Alahiym also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: Phil. 2:10 That at the name [authority] of Yahusha every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; Phil. 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Yahusah Mashiyach is Sovereign, to the esteem of Alahiym the Father. Prov. 6:19 A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren. What is the difference between a false witness speaking lies and a lying tongue?

Page 10: 1100 lAo¥ÅyIl;Vb bliya{al, bel-e-yah´-al;thepathtoyahuah.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/12...• Esau vs. Ya’aqub (Ya’aqab/Jacob) [Esau will be cut off but a remnant will be

One thing we should consider is lying was what cause this downfall. Next the devil is the father of lies.

• John 8:44 You are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

6315. Aj…wÚp puwach, poo´akh; a primitive root; to puff, i.e. blow with the breath or air; hence, to fan (as a breeze), to utter, to kindle (a fire), to scoff:—blow (upon), break, puff, bring into a snare, speak, utter. This means to blow out to breath out. There is a cognate word that has a close meaning. Ruach. It means breath, wind, breath. This shows the type of speaking is something that is deep within a person. It became apart of them. 5707. dEo ed, ayd; contracted from 5749 ; concretely, a witness; abstractly, testimony; specifically, a recorder, i.e. prince:—witness. Ex. 25:21 And you shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark you shalt put the testimony that I shall give you. Ex. 25:22 And there I will meet with you, and I will commune with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give you in commandment unto the children of Israel. This person speaks as if he is a witness of something that really is a lie. Basically, someone was raised in a lie. They do not really know or see it as a lie. So they breath out lies, they become a false witness of speech. This is more than someone lying from the tongue if you will. This is embedded much deeper. Num. 23:19 Alahiym is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: has he said, and shall he not do it? or has he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Deut. 31:26 Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of Yahuah your Alahiym, that it may be there for a witness against you. Prov. 14:5 ¶ A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies.

Page 11: 1100 lAo¥ÅyIl;Vb bliya{al, bel-e-yah´-al;thepathtoyahuah.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/12...• Esau vs. Ya’aqub (Ya’aqab/Jacob) [Esau will be cut off but a remnant will be

Prov. 19:5 ¶ A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape. Rom. 1:18 For the wrath of Alahiym is revealed from heaven against all wickness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;

• Young’s Literal Translation • for revealed is the wrath of Alahiym from heaven upon all impiety and

unrighteousness of men, holding down [back] the truth in unrighteousness. James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell. 4090. N∂dVm mdan, med-awn´; a form of 4066:—discord, strife.

We touched on this word earlier, but I want to talk about its root. This discord is done through judging. This is all through Yashra’al (Yisrael/Israel) When you add the mem to the word, [Mem means chaos, picture of water]. Chaos is added to the judgment. This causes discord. Prov. 6:19 A false witness that speaks lies, and he that sows discord among brethren. What is the difference between a false witness speaking lies and a lying tongue?

Ex. 25:21 And you shall put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark you shall put the witness that I shall give you. Ex. 25:22 And there I will meet with you, and I will commune with you from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the witness, of all things which I will give you in commandment unto the children of Yashra’al (Yisrael/Israel). In this verse, this person speaks as if he is a witness of something that really is a lie.

Prov. 19:5 ¶ A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaks lies shall not escape. Rom. 1:18 For the wrath of Alahiym is revealed from heaven against all wickness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Young’s Literal Translation for revealed is the wrath of Alahiym from heaven upon all impiety and unrighteousness of men, holding down [back] the truth in unrighteousness. Gal. 3:13 Mashiyach has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangs on a tree:

• Dan. 9:9 To Yahuah our Alahiym belong mercies and forgiveness’s, though we have rebelled against him;

• Dan. 9:10 Neither have we obeyed the voice of Yahuah our Alahiym, to walk in his laws, which he set before us by his servants the prophets.

• Dan. 9:11 Yea, all Yashra’al (Yisrael/Israel) have transgressed your law, even by departing, that they might not obey your voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Mushah (Mashah/Moses) the servant of Alahiym, because we have sinned against him.

o This is the Law of Sin and death, that Shaul is talking about. NOT the Law of Yahuah.

o Rom. 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Mashiyach Yahusha has made me free from the law of sin and death.

Gal. 3:19 ¶ Why then the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by messengers in the hand of a mediator.

o 1John 3:4 ¶ Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Gal. 3:20 Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but Alahiym is one. Gal. 3:21 Is the law then against the promises of Alahiym? Alahiym forbid: for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. Gal. 3:22 But the scripture has concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Yahusha Mashiyach might be given to them that believe. Gal. 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Gal. 3:24 Wherefore the law was our Tutor (schoolmaster) to bring us unto Mashiyach, that we might be justified by faith. What is the Schoolmaster or tutor? The curse of the Law (Tutor/schoolmaster). Was for the disobedience of the Law (Of the Most High) This let’s us know why we need a Mashiyach. Gal. 3:25 But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a Tutor (schoolmaster). The tutor was after the Law, not before the Law. That is why it said it was added. Rom. 6:14 For sin [1John 3:4 ¶ Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law] shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law [Gal. 3:13 Mashiyach has redeemed us from the curse of the

law,], but under favor (grace). Rom. 6:15 What then? shall we sin [1John 3:4 ¶ Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression

of the law], because we are not under the law [Gal. 3:13 Mashiyach has redeemed us from the curse of the law,], but under favor (grace)? Alahiym forbid. Rom. 6:16 Know you not, that to whom you yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants you are to whom you obey; whether of sin [1John 3:4 ¶ Whosoever commits sin transgresses also the law: for sin is the

transgression of the law] unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness [Is. 51:7 Hearken unto me, you that know

righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law…] Rom. 6:17 But Alahiym be thanked, that you were the servants of sin [1John 3:4 Whosoever commits sin

transgresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law], but you have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. Rom. 6:18 Being then made free from sin, you became the servants of righteousness [Is. 51:7 Hearken

unto me, you that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law;…].

What is Shaul really saying? Just because you are not under the penalty of the law, does nor give you the go-ahead abuse the favor or “grace” 2Pet. 3:15 And account that the longsuffering of our Sovereign is salvation; even as our beloved brother Shaul also according to the wisdom given unto him has written unto you; 2Pet. 3:16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction. 2Pet. 3:17 You therefore, beloved, seeing you know these things before, beware lest you also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.

• 113. a‡qesmoß athesmos, ath´-es-mos; from 1 (as a negative particle) and a derivative of 5087 (in the sense of enacting); lawless, i.e. (by implication) criminal: — wicked.

Shaul was sharing what has no more dominion over him. The Law of Sin was the problem. Psa. 119:133 ¶ Order my steps in your word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. Rom. 6:9 Knowing that Mashiyach being raised from the dead dies no more; death has no more dominion over him.

• Rom. 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of Alahiym is eternal life through Yahusha Mashiyach our Sovereign.

Rom. 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for you are not under the law, but under favor (grace). Romans 8, is a conclusion of the previous two chapters

• Rom. 7:23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.

• Rom. 7:25 I thank Alahiym through Yahusha Mashiyach our Sovereign. So then with the mind I myself serve the law of Alahiym; but with the flesh the law of sin.

• Rom. 8:1 ¶ There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Mashiyach Yahusha, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

• Rom. 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Mashiyach Yahusha has made me free from the law of sin and death.

So what about “grace”? “Grace” is for the breaking of the law of Alahiym. The penalty was added or the curse was added. We are no longer under the curse, and all the requirements of the curse, but under favor “grace”. If we do not have the law of Yahuah, we do not have sin. The law tells us what sin is.

• Rom. 7:7 ¶ What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Alahiym forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, You shalt not covet.

• Rom. 7:8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.

We are to be spiritual. In order for us to be spiritual, we need instruction to teach us how this works:

• Rom. 7:12 Wherefore the law is set-apart, and the commandment set-apart, and just, and good.

• Rom. 7:13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? Alahiym forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

• Rom. 7:14 ¶ For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin. • Rom. 7:15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I

hate, that do I. • Rom. 7:16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good. • Rom. 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwells in me. • Rom. 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwells no good thing: for to

will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not. o Why does he say “in me dwells no good thing?
