Papers may be submitted on any subject relevant to law librarianship in one of the following categories: Open Division, for active and retired AALL members; New Member Division, for AALL members of less than five years; Short Form Division, for works that are shorter than a traditional scholarly paper; and Student Division, for members and nonmembers who are currently enrolled in library or law school. This scholarship provides funding for members to attend live seminars and conferences presented by the Institute for Court Management, the Center for Legal and Court Technology, the Equal Justice Conference or other programs that provide continuing education for state, court, or county law librarians.
