World Oil’s updated tables for pipe sizes to 5-in. OD orproduction-tubing-specific couplings provide informationon premium connection dimensions and available steelgrades. Tables are organized by connnection manufactur-ing company name, and listings show page numbers for cut-away diagrams (not to scale) for visual cross reference withtabular data. Coupling type and sealing mechanism followmanufacturer and coupling name or designation. Criticaltubular and connection areas can be used with minimumyield or ultimate strengths in designs and to calculate cou-pling tensile capacity. For your convenience, connectionmanufacturer contact information appears on page T-27.

These tables are intended as a guide when planning tub-ing programs. However, individual manufacturer repre-sentatives should be consulted before making final decisions.Minimum joint tension strengths are available in expandedtables on our website at: www.worldoil.com.

They feature O-ring seals that prevent fluidpenetration into the thread-seal area and keep dope inplace.
