    Provisional Demarcation, Demarcation of Plot Corners or Showing Plot Locations to the Owner.

    2. Demarcation for Construction

    The following actions are permitted once a Provisional Certificate is issued: Conducting soil test only Construction of fence for temporary plot (Al Faya Indust., Ranches, Sea Rest Houses)

    Demarcation of plot corners with high accuracy and not less than 5 cm using modern instruments and surveying techniques, and handing over reduced level height for gate level purpose. The following actions are permitted after issuing the Demarcation Certificate for construction: Temporary Fence Fixing Issuing of Building Permits Construction allowed

    It will be carried out at Tie Beam Stage Checking the lay-out of building Checking Gate Level Height Checking if the construction is inside the boundary which was handed over in case of Commercial buildings.

    In case of villa construction or any building has a compound wallWhen the contractor starts construction of the boundary wall or any building near/adjacent to the boundary wall, they should get a certificate conforming that they are not exceeding plot boundary limits at the tie beam stage and before they start the concrete work.

    Issuing of Field Survey Report

    For completion certificate purpose, survey of boundary wall in case of villa or survey of outside limit of building in case of commercial and tower buildings. If the contractor constructs outside the provided boundary which was handed over previously, then a fine is to be paid and sets back the build up to its original permitted limits.

    Final building height should be equivalent to the approved designed height.

    When applying for a plot demarcation, the Consultant and the Contractor should nominate their representative engineers for plot demarcation. Names along with mobile numbers should be specified on the request form.

    The site engineer (surveyor, civil eng., architect) representing Contractor and Consultant, should be attending the demarcation process and receiving the marks on site.

    The surveyor will verify the site engineers identity. The Contractor and Consultant representatives should present ID cards to the surveyor.

    The Demarcation Certificate will be issued on the second day from demarcation if there are no conflicts.

    The issued Demarcation Certificate should be signed only by the representative engineers as per the application and attending the process of demarcation on site. Only to the nominated representative Demarcation Certificate will be issued.

    If there is any discrepancy between Demarcated Plot and constructed compound wall, building or approved engineering design (gate level and final level), the Contractor should correct these discrepancies before commencing the work.

    If any discrepancies appear during the issuing of the final survey certificate, the Contractor should pay the cost of these discrepancies as well as corrections costs.

    Field report will be issued only when tie beams are prepared for all plot corners
