Madam/Dear Sir, Re: Payment of special Medical Aid to Retired employees on reaching the age of 70/75/80 years- Introduction of New Scheme under Staff Welfare Scheme.

Our Bank hos been in the forefront in taking various progressive employee we!fare initiotives to take good care of our staff members. It has been Bank's constant endeovor to ooopt the best welfare measures in the industry and improvise on eKisting schemes under the staff Welfare Dept.

'-,Ve ore pleased to inform the introduction of a new scheme for retired employees wherein Povrnerit o! special Medical Aid is extended to Retired employees on reochiag the age of 70i75!B0 years w.e.f 01.01.2020.

COVERAGE:

The scheme is open for the following Ex-employees:

Retired from Bank's service either on superannuation or Voluntary Retirernent under BOB Employees' Pension Regulation,1995/ BOBOSR 1979.

2. Those who hove been allowed to voluntarily retire/ Prematurely Retiring from the Bank's service on rnedical ground ofter due examination of Medical Board.

FXCLUSION:

1. Emptovees wno hove been discharged / dismissed / removed fron, service/ compulsorily retired or their services have been terminated by way of punishment will r101 be eiig:ble.

:2. Whc=;n Regulation 20(3i (iii) is invoked. tne benefit wili be ovoilcbte only ofter completion ot disciplinary/judicial proceedings. 2:''.Clcyees who have sought Voluntary Retiremen1 under BOB(EJVRS 2001.

BENEFITS UNDER THE SCHEME: To provide better HR services ond ease of operolion for ex-employees, Bonk has introduceo on exclusive internet based web-portol for retired employees w.e.f Ol.01.2020. The portal can i::,e occessed anytime anywhere from desktop, laptop, smartphone, tablets etc. ·

MOOALlTIES:-

1. Eligible retired employees have to apply for the special medical aid through the Ex­ Employee Portal. The URL for the some iSgiven below:

Retired employee have to login using their EC number as user id and DOB as their password.

Eg- If ex-employee· s EC number is 1234 and DOB ls l 0-12-1922, 1hen his login id shall be 1234 and password 10-12-1922.

2. The timeframe for making an application is as below-

3. Please note that, no carry forward faclllty will be allowed. if the oppllcation is not made In any oge bracket. it shall lapse.

4. Payment will be done by HO centraily on i" week of succeeding month.

Kindly bring the contents of the circular to the notice of all the staffs/ ex-staffs: A copy be dis0iayed on the notlce board for the benefit of the ex-employees.
