Specialty Clubs focus on learning developing and preserving a specific skill interest or activity There is a deliberate focus on sharing membersrsquo skills with others to strengthen the community Participants do not have to be an expert - as the objective is to learn During the monthly meetings members work on personal projects participate in group projects and learn new techniques and methods from fellow members Specialty clubs meet at the Fayette County Extension Office You are welcome to join us at anytime

How to Request a Quilt of Valor Visit wwwqovforg to make the request A Quilt of Valorreg is a single lifetime award We will need your help in making this award including verifying that your nominee has not previously been awarded a Quilt of Valor They will be contacting you to arrange a presentation time and place If you are not the person who will make those arrangements please have that information ready for the QOVF volunteer who contacts you Please include all pertinent information in your request Let them know if there are any special circumstances that affect making this award (currently deployed hospice surprise etc) Awards for service members currently deployed will be planned to take place upon their return to the States Thank you for your assistance in making this award to your loved one

earn you a discount on your

automobile insurance

premiums for three to five years and you will be a better

driver The AARP Smart Driver Safety Course will be

held on October 16 2018 from 1000 am to 200 pm at

Way Lexington The AARP Smart Driver Safety Program

is a classroom course for drivers aged 50 and over The

course identifies many of the changes which occur as we

age and suggests strategies for accommodating those

changes for safer driving Participants who complete the

course will receive a certificate which many car insurance

agencies honor with a discount A small fee covers course

expenses $1500 for AARP members $2000 for

non-members Feel free to bring a sack lunch if you would

like the class will continue through the lunch hour

How to Request a Quilt of Valor Visit wwwqovforg to make the request A Quilt of Valorreg is a single lifetime award We will need your help in making this award including verifying that your nominee has not previously been awarded a Quilt of Valor They will be contacting you to arrange a presentation time and place If you are not the person who will make those arrangements please have that information ready for the QOVF volunteer who contacts you Please include all pertinent information in your request Let them know if there are any special circumstances that affect making this award (currently deployed hospice surprise etc) Awards for service members currently deployed will be planned to take place upon their return to the States Thank you for your assistance in making this award to your loved one

Driver Safety Course could

earn you a discount on your

automobile insurance

premiums for three to five years and you will be a better

driver The AARP Smart Driver Safety Course will be

held on October 16 2018 from 1000 am to 200 pm at

the Fayette County Extension Office 1140 Harry Sykes

Way Lexington The AARP Smart Driver Safety Program

is a classroom course for drivers aged 50 and over The

course identifies many of the changes which occur as we

age and suggests strategies for accommodating those

changes for safer driving Participants who complete the

course will receive a certificate which many car insurance

agencies honor with a discount A small fee covers course

expenses $1500 for AARP members $2000 for

non-members Feel free to bring a sack lunch if you would

like the class will continue through the lunch hour

driver The AARP Smart Driver Safety Course will be

held on October 16 2018 from 1000 am to 200 pm at

Way Lexington The AARP Smart Driver Safety Program

is a classroom course for drivers aged 50 and over The

course identifies many of the changes which occur as we

age and suggests strategies for accommodating those

changes for safer driving Participants who complete the

course will receive a certificate which many car insurance

agencies honor with a discount A small fee covers course

expenses $1500 for AARP members $2000 for

non-members Feel free to bring a sack lunch if you would

like the class will continue through the lunch hour
