Skin is the largest organ in the body Skin serves as a protective barrier to help prevent harmful substances from entering the body Your diet damaging sun rays chemicals pollution and smoke all can affect the skin Nourishing our skin and taking care of it is important at any age this lesson will discuss how to arm your skin with sunscreen and antioxidants give hygiene tips and how to eat for healthy skin

Specialty Clubs focus on learning developing and preserving a specific skill interest or activity There is a deliberate focus on sharing membersrsquo skills with others to strengthen the community Participants do not have to be an expert - as the objective is to learn During the monthly meetings members work on personal projects participate in group projects and learn new techniques and methods from fellow members Specialty clubs meet at the Fayette County Extension Office You are welcome to join us at anytime

driver The AARP Smart Driver Safety Course will be
held on October 16 2018 from 1000 am to 200 pm at

Way Lexington The AARP Smart Driver Safety Program
is a classroom course for drivers aged 50 and over The
course identifies many of the changes which occur as we
age and suggests strategies for accommodating those
changes for safer driving Participants who complete the
course will receive a certificate which many car insurance
agencies honor with a discount A small fee covers course
expenses $1500 for AARP members $2000 for
non-members Feel free to bring a sack lunch if you would
like the class will continue through the lunch hour

expenses $1500 for AARP members $2000 for

driver The AARP Smart Driver Safety Course will be
held on October 16 2018 from 1000 am to 200 pm at

Way Lexington The AARP Smart Driver Safety Program
is a classroom course for drivers aged 50 and over The
course identifies many of the changes which occur as we
age and suggests strategies for accommodating those
changes for safer driving Participants who complete the
course will receive a certificate which many car insurance
agencies honor with a discount A small fee covers course
expenses $1500 for AARP members $2000 for
non-members Feel free to bring a sack lunch if you would
like the class will continue through the lunch hour
