On 01-17-18 at approximately 1509 hrs. I, Det. M. Rogers #925, was assigned case# 18-004760. Upon reviewing the case I discovered that the victim's vehicle had been recovered in Huntsville Al abandon by Huntsville P.D. Paper from NCIC showed the vehicle was cleared and that the owner had been notified. I have made several attempts to contact the victim - left voice mails as well - no return calls from the victim - certified letter was then sent in order to establish contact. Due to the lack of interest by the victim and the suspect being known this case will be exceptionally cleared unless the suspect makes contact and desires to prosecute - at that time the case may be reopened.

On 01/17/2018 at 09:00 hours, Officer R. Justice (68403) responded to a theft at 129 Walnut Street, Apt. 129. Upon arrival, police spoke with Tiffany Dorizas who stated at approximately 0026 hours, on 01-15-2018, her Cannondale bicycle was stolen. The bike was located on the third floor of the parking garage for the residential complex. The bike was secured to a bike rack, but it appeared as if the suspect burned through the rubber and cut the security cable with, presumably, a bolt-cutter. Mrs. Dorizas had video footage of the suspect riding the bicycle out of the parking garage. She appeared to be a white female with very frizzy blonde hair. She had a bulky build and was wearing a large black overcoat. It's unclear how the suspect entered the garage, as it is secured by large gate, but most likely the suspect just followed a car in the garage as there is a delay on the gate closing when a vehicle enters the garage. Mrs. Dorizas stated this was the third bike of hers stolen in the past few months and believes this suspect to be involved in the previous incidents as well. The stolen bike was red/orange in color and has a serial # of YA07014. The bike is priced at $550.00 dollars. Police searched the area, as well as the Community Kitchen and Salvation Army. Unfortunately, the bike was not located and no one had seen the bike nor could identify the suspect.

1/14/2018 12:00:18AM TO 1/20/2018 11:59:18PM

On 01/25/2018 at 11:00 hours I, Officer Lockhart (66490), reported a memo at 314 Central Dr. I was originally dispatched to the above location to report a stolen vehicle (Zummer 50cc scooter VIN#LN9TEACU0F1001771) and was given instructions to speak to the reporting party's (Bradley Sarno) ex-girlfriend, Belinda Stewart, who would actually give police the needed information for the report, as Mr. Sarno currently resides in NC. Once on scene, I made contact with Ms. Stewart who explained to me that Mr. Sarno and she have recently terminated their relationship and he is trying to report the vehicle stolen in retaliation to her ending the relationship. Furthermore, Ms. Stewart stated Mr. Sarno actually dropped the scooter off at her brother (Christopher Stewart's) house prior to leaving Chattanooga and the scooter is still currently there. A short time later I infact observed the scooter at the 1107 Perry St. address. Also, Mr. Sarno stated, he left a Tattoo machine and other equipment for the tattoo machine in the possession of Ms. Stewart with the understanding that Ms. Stewart would bring him those items when she came to visit him in NC. According to Ms. Stewart, she infact did take Mr. Sarno the Tattoo equipment when she went to visit him on the weekend of 1/20/2018-1/21/2018. Upon running Mr. Sarno's information for this report it was found that Mr. Sarno had multiple outstanding warrants out of Hamilton County, TN and specifically a warrant for false reports. Due to the lack of evidence of a theft and Mr. Sarno's criminal history, it is my recommendation this incident be deemed unfounded at this time.

At 1338 hours on this date I spoke with Ms. Stewart over the phone. Ms. Stewart made me aware that she was contacted by Mr. Sarno's mother and she would come by the Perry St. address to pick up the scooter on the behalf of Mr. Sarno.
