what is parasitism?• the relationship between two plants

or animals in with one benefits from the other

• not necessarily killing the other plant or animal

• For example, a parasite obtaining its food from the host and it is where the host is harmed in some way and it does not necessarily causing it t die.

The host• it provides a safe habitat for the parasite

• all animals have a possibility of being a host for a parasite

• the host increases the chance of survival and reproduction of the parasite

• The tape worm is also an example of a parasite

• it gains food and nutrients within the host
