Our own Donna Latino is living Proof that sometimes what you see is really what you see. No touch ups, no airbrushing. Donna was interviewed to report her success and encourage others. I asked Donna for a copy of the article to share with you and she gladly did so with a subscript…
“The article is somewhat correct. “What really made me have that surgery was
Kathy Godfrey. She is the one that talked me into that, and I told that guy that! Kath told me to tell myself that I was worth it, and she told me she
wanted me to feel as good as she felt after she lost all of her weight!” They also got my weight wrong, I lost 158 lbs and weigh a svelte 132!.

Debbie Glory-Maxwell and her husband Larry are partnered with a new non-profit
We are HART, Humane Animal Response Team of Louisiana. Our mission is to assist in the animal welfare, protection, and safety of animals throughout the state of Louisiana by investigating claims of animal abuse, neglect and abandonment. We are a non-profit corporation and our services are free. We are available to receive calls 24/7 at 504-373-6020 to assure the best assistance to animals in distress. When a call is received, a team will be dispatched to gather and format the information to present to the appropriate officials for disposition of any animals involved. We will seek emergency veterinary care to rehabilitate the animals.
We intend to perform investigations independently and for organizations that request our assistance. We look forward to serving the animals in need in our community.
Is it pay it forward or The tale of two Sisters?
I am sure many of you know quite a few clichés, but have you heard of a story full of cliché’s that are all truisms in the saga of one Aw Shit dollar? After making her purchase the cashier made change,
HART of Louisiana, Inc. Email: hartoflouisiana.org Website: http://hartoflouisiana.org
Marilyn Dubuc noticed something scribbled on the dollar she received. Written across the dollar was the name Karen Regan. Marilyn showed her Dollar to Joan Dubuc and together must’ve thought… [It’s a small world] Amused by this Marilyn sent her dollar to Debbie Woodruff and asked her to return it Karen. [What goes around comes around] At this last meeting, Debbie gave Karen her dollar back and told her how amused her Aunt and Mom were when they were handed the dollar with Karen’s name on it. Karen in turn bought a 50/50 ticket and won $72.00! [Luck of the draw, or Pay it Forward?] Two last clichés come to thought…[Last but not least] Karen left laughing… [all the way to the bank]
